„Das Hotel ist von außen sehr hĂŒbsch und hat einen netten Pool. Innen ist es allerdings sehr in die Jahre gekommen, das Zimmer roch muffig und war leider zudem schmutzig. Das beste am Hotel war die Lage auf halbem Weg zwischen Kingston und MontrĂ©al und der Abstecher zum Upper Canada Village - aber das Haus selber leider nicht zu empfehlen.“

„I had to make a last-minute booking for work and stayed here. I met the owner—his name was Mony (pronounced Moony, I believe). I was late checking in, but he took great care of me. He gave me a tour of the property and let me sit and chat in the bar as he was closing. This bar/hotel is very, very cool. I can’t recommend it enough for people passing through on road trips or bike trips. They have live music regularly and a beautiful patio out back. I will absolutely make a point to come back here ...

„Like that it was a short drive to Lancaster which has quaint little shops and local town restaurants. The Cooper Marsh is a short drive away; it has nice walking trails. The cottage is across the street from the St Lawrence river but there was no direct access to water nearby for swimming or soaking feet within walking distance.“

„We all had an amazing stay at this cottage!! Check-in was a breeze, and our host, Francis, was exceptional. He loaded us and all of our belongings onto his pontoon, took us over to the island, and showed us around while explaining how everything worked.
