« Nice property. A couple of minor maintenance issues: blind slats in main room don’t rotate. Bathroom sink partly blocked. Main issue however was Deb and Steve seem over busy. I called and emailed prior to arrival to confirm booking, time etc. as this is a remote area. The phone was off, no response to email. As it turned out, others had mistakenly checked into my room, after speaking to Deb on the way in. She didn’t pick up that they were the wrong people arriving a day early. I know they get a...

« We loved that place so peaceful, in the middle of nowhere. The overseers bungalow is great, it is the former school of the shepherds, you have all the amenities you need far from tourism effusions ;we liked so much that place that we stayed for an extra night. »

« Les bungalows sont installés au milieu de la végétation, autour d'une jolie piscine. Un bar - restaurant, implanté un peu à l'écart, propose d'excellents plats réalisés avec des produits locaux. Un peu cher toutefois. Il existe différentes tailles de bungalows. Le nôtre, pur 2 personnes, faisait partie d'un groupe de 3 dans le même bâtiment mais c'était très calme. Il y a une grande terrasse pour chacun. L'intérieur est peut-être un peu petit mais c'est très propre et il y a tout le confort...

« The property is ideally located a short distance to Quorn. Hamish and Belinda, the owners were delightful to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble. The single bedroom accommodation we chose was beautifully maintained and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and it wanted for nothing. A wonderful location which we highly recommend. »

« The room in this old hotel was as described, clean and comfortable enough. Our host was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed having the spillover space of the common room for breakfast and games (& we happened to have it to ourselves). The pub meal was good, and we didn’t mind the reasonable evening noise from the pub. The Wilmington Hotel met our expectations. »
