„Fab trip and a lovely house. The Ashes is a cosy and peaceful getaway in beautiful surroundings. 10 of us stayed for a birthday celebration over 4 nights, and everyone enjoyed their stay. There are a few cobwebs, like other reviews I’d seen had mentioned, but that’s to be expected in a place like this and the place was otherwise clean and comfortable. The owner had left us a wheelbarrow full of fire wood, and the fire was lit when we arrived. We self catered and managed just fine, though ...

„Very helpful, we were going to be later than anticipated arriving, phoned to let them know, they reassured us it was no problem, everything was ready for our stay. Check-in at the bar was easy, staff showed us to our studio, staff very cheerful. Food in the pub was great, not just pub grub. Only downside, studio was small.“
