« Absolutely a great place to stay. Host was great, let us us check in a little earlier, and check out a little later. We were here for a wedding nearby. There was a beautiful porch with comfy chairs overlooking a beautiful lake. We enjoyed our morning coffee there. Not one complaint or concern here! »

« It was the perfect place to bring our big family! There was plenty of space inside and so much outdoor space for the kids to play! We enjoyed relaxing on the porch, so peaceful! »

« Everything about this property was perfect for our annual girls trip - and everyone is already asking when we will return! Spent both nights enjoying the views and a fire, the pool/hot tub, and got competitive in a few rounds of pickle ball and ping pong. Thanks for hosting us! »

« The cottage was exactly as pictured and described. It was very comfortable and cozy. The owner was very responsive to an issue we had (which turned out to be a non-issue). The cottage was well supplied. The neighbors were very friendly and there was easy access to the river. The store at the end of the street sold basic items, which was convenient. The bar behind the store was awesome for a cold beer and meeting neighbors. It was a great neighborhood to walk my dogs. »

« Loved our stay at the farmhouse! We had more than enough dishes and cookware for our stay. The beds were so comfortable. We were all fast asleep as soon as we hit the pillows. It was nice to be back in a farmhouse and you can see they took care to show the history and labor of love the home was. There were little things here and there that reminded me of my grandparents farmhouse and it was nice to reminisce. »

« We had an excellent weekend at the Luxury Lodges. The house was stocked with everything we needed, from linens and towels to cookware and paper products. It was very clean as well. The property is secluded for privacy and offers a beautiful view of the Mississippi River. The basement is an open area with games to play as well . We will definitely stay again, hopefully in the near future. »

« We loved everything about this house! The suites are great, kitchen is well stocked, plenty of room for our family vacation. We also loved the location, we took day trips to Galena and Dyersville. We enjoyed outdoor games in the yard, went to the golf/mini-golf course, as well as other attractions in Dubuque. We appreciate the owners attention to details and the pristine condition of the home. The best VRBO house we have stayed in. »

« Our 12 year old grandson ran upstairs and claimed "his baseball bedroom" within a minute of arriving! He told all his teammates about the house and "his room" .. they were quite envious when they heard about it! We are so glad we were able to join his family for this fun time and found your home to stay in. Michelle had the whole house stocked with everything we needed! Would definitely stay here again when in the neighborhood! »
