„We loved staying in this historic bach right on the water. It had everything we needed and was comfortable and clean. We had a great time checking out the Paparoa track, fishing the Fox and Pororari rivers and exploring nearby caves. Would definitely come back for another weekend away! “

„Nice clean property with decent view of ocean. Has amazing sunsets. Recommend owner add scrubber sponge for dish washing, more hand towels, and dish towels. Also recommend better labels on rubbish, recycle and compost bins because it was a total guess on how to distribute waste. Very good remote property, some highway noise but limited to occasional vehicles. Would definitely stay there again. “

„It was a great little getaway, and we could imagine in summer it would be even nicer being able to enjoy the outdoor picnic spots by the pond. We arrived late in the day and were quite peckish, so enjoying a beautiful fresh loaf of bread, butter and cheese that greeted us when we arrived was lovely - along with a bottle of wine for later and a ginger beer for our young one. "The location is sensational. But the campsite is pretty run down. The kitchen is the worst equipped I have ever seen. And also the laundry facilities were nothing I would want to wash or dry my clothes in. Our cabin was ok with a little fridge that was great. But everything was quite damp. All in all, I wouldn't go there again even though the location is beautiful."
