« From the moment we arrived, the owners were so kind and helpful, even organising a full-day safari with an amazing guide where we spotted three leopards and so much more. The rooms were spotless, honestly the cleanest we saw in our whole month in Sri Lanka, and could easily match a high-end hotel in Europe or the US. « Worst hotel I’ve been to in Sri Lanka and completely overpriced. The pictures must either be well PSed or are from two centuries ago as everything is old, run down and dirty now. We were the only guests on both the day of arrival and departure which was a bit weird and the staff was talking outside our door the entire night. The a/c is from the 18 hundreds and louder than a fighter jet (metaphorically speaking). I can highly not recommend this place!!! »

« Unfortunately I am not able to review Dil Lanka Safari Resort, because when we arrived, the manager was very surprised to see us and said that he had no booking from us (three people, two rooms). Ultimately it was resolved (with help from our Sri Lankan driver) and we were given our money back (booking was prepaid). The grounds looked nice, so you could take your chances, but make sure you do nót prepay your reservation. »
