„It was a wonderfully unique experience to stay at this Japanese hotel with a private onsen bath in our room. I would recommend staying at least 2 nights as it is in a remote location 40 min from downtown Kanazawa. They have a free shuttle to and from Kanazawa that you need to organize with the hotel. The multi-course Japanese breakfast in a private room was a treat. The staff was very responsive and helpful despite not speaking much English. We had to make quite a few changes and they were quite ...

„Nice heated pool with massaging pumps, just a pity that it opens till 9pm - I really love this pool!“

„Traditional Japanese Ryokan. Staff has been very welcoming and kind to our kids and us. Food has been a positive traditional experience. Special meals for our kids has been provided without asking. The outdoor onsen and sauna area has been great. Free shuttle transfer to the nearest stations including luggage support. The room itself is a bit dated but we enjoyed our overnight stay. “

Dinner was one delicious and creative course after another, often featuring local ingredients harvested that day. The only thing better than the room and the food was the hospitality of our hosts. Everyone was welcoming, ...

Tat gut. Einziges Manko: Fussläufig etwa eine Stunde vom Bahnhof entfernt. Doch eine Bushaltestelle ist nicht weit entfernt. Ich werde dort definitiv wieder buchen. “

„Tolles authentisches Ryokan mit sensationeller Küche. Schöne Räume und nettes kleines Onsen. “

„Sehr nettes Personal, leckeres Essen, private onsen“

„Wataya = WOW! From the second we arrive... I'm so happy Aaron chose this place. The staff is a family that has owned and operated this wonderful house for 7 generations! We chill in the onsen chatting loudly as we are the only guests today, return to the room to relax looking at the garden during twilight. Dinner is served! We did a poor job at informing them of my friend's restricted diet... The proprieter is so generous! She grabs a frozen pizza from her home to feed my buddy... I'm stuffed by ...
