„Horrific! Never Again - Filthy, Run-Down and Rude Staff We booked this hotel for a very special occasion - a wedding - and it turned out to be the biggest mistake of our trip. The moment we walked into the room, we were hit with a musty, dusty smell that made it hard to breathe. The bathroom was filthy, with visible rust and mold. The radiators were covered in thick layers of dust and grime, the furniture was damaged and stained, cobwebs were hanging from the windows, the door frames were ...

„Having stayed with you previously, we were really looking forward to returning. Unfortunately, what should have been a lovely and relaxing family break was overshadowed by a number of issues relating to cleanliness, service and the overall guest experience. Upon arriving at our room, we were disappointed to discover that the toilet had not been properly cleaned and still contained faeces from a previous occupant. There was also a noticeable stain on one of the chairs. Although we were ...

„it's a great location, with a marvelous view. right on the sea front, only a few minutes walk from the city centre. check in procedure was fast but very friendly. should have booked parking, but that was my fault. what i like are decent showers, with plenty of water pressure, which often is a real issue in hotels around the uk, no disappointment either. i had a great easter break, thank YOU !“

„Compared to other hotels in Scarborough this one is a good choice. A friendly and professional welcome, a nice view, a large room. The downsides are the room is directly situated above the bar & garden which has customers drinking, laughing and yelling till midnight. Food is ok, but not great. The friendly receptionist is also a very good escalation manager and took the parking fee off the bill to make up for the noise.“

„Sauberes kleines Zimmer und Bad. Praktisch und kompakt.“

„Schöne, grosse Zimmer, aber sehr bescheidene, fast spartanische Einrichtung. Z.B. keine WC-Bürste(!!!!), kein Kleenex, keine Hygienebeutel, kein body lotion, kein Schrank für Kleider etc. Zimmerservice nur auf Verlangen. Restaurant: gute Auswahl, schön, gepflegt. Steak medium rare bestellt, well done erhalten(!!!). “

„Good for a night or two. Tired, empty large corridors. Walls are thin. But it's warm, and in a decent area“

„ Zimmer sind schlicht aber sauber, leichter check in und out. - Fliese im Bad kaputt, Schimmelflecken an der Decke, Fenster konnte man nicht öffnen ,sehr rücksichtslose Nachbarn “

„We stayed for two nights in the Marrakesh suite and loved it. A huge comfy bed, air conditioning, mini fridge, lots of storage and a large TV. Upstairs is a large jacuzzi bathroom complete with bathrobes and slippers. The host, Debbie was fantastic, she always seemed to be on duty and was very helpful. Breakfast was very good with a huge selection and could be taken in the dining room or in your suite.“

„The property is clean and basic, in comparison to others we have stayed in at The Bay. However, the listing could be made clearer. Guests should be aware that there is no WiFi connection, they need to bring, towels, hairdryer and there are no basic cleaning products or toiletries supplied.“

„We had no running hot water other than the electric shower. No wardrobe just hangers on hooks. TV was the size of an iPad. Bottom bed sheet too small and forever coming off. Needs to be clearer when it states breakfast included but it is only cereal. Outside seating area not suitable as soiled with seagulls droppings“

„Good location, really nice chap, would go again“

„Nice house. Not far from the centre, beach and railway station. Very good breakfast. Friendly hosts. Easy parking with the provided permit. We enjoyed our stay.“
