« This place was a nightmare from the moment I arrived. The parking lot reeked and had dog poop scattered around. My room stank of dog urine so badly it was hard to breathe. I had an emergency and had to leave after the first night, but there was no one,not even at the front desk, willing or able to speak to me about a refund for the second night I paid for. Completely unprofessional. The surrounding area is depressing and offers nothing worth staying for. Save your money and stay literally...

« La première chose à dire concernant le Old Courthouse Inn est qu'il se trouve directement placé derrière une usine à papier. Si cela ne nous a pas gêné pour dormir, c'est vraiment dommage car l'usine cache la vue de la jolie baie de Powell River. Ensuite, c'est un hôtel dit "boutique", en hommage à la mère du propriétaire et aux années 50: c'est un amoncellement de meubles et d'objets pas particulièrement beaux mais qui ont en commun le fait d'être vieux. Il en résulte une odeur de poussière...

« A well-maintained older motel in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately, my bed was really hard and uncomfortable. »

« Bbq was full of mould and out of propane, cob webs hanging everywhere, would have been great to have more hooks to hang things. Floor was way out of level and steps were really slippery. Location was great and quiet and hosts were accommodating for my extra night. »

« Nicole was quick to respond to queries which is appreciated. The view is nice but most of the furniture shown in the pictures were put away for the winter. I had picked this property so I could sit on the outdoor couch and read so I was disappointed and wish this was communicated before we rented. The property was clean. We found the beds too hard for our liking but you cannot please everyone with the type of bed. There are minimal cooking pots so for someone like me who likes to cook it made...

« This cabin was extremely overpriced for what it is and the time of year. This is our only complaint. This is a 100 per night cabin max in late October. It is a cabin that has a out house toilet and no kitchen. We feel ripped off. »
