« Very welcoming cottage, located nearby Stratford Hall, where I met with my grandniece that is doing her internship there, this summer.Close by is Colonial beach, where we watched the Fourth of July fireworks.The cottage was excellent. « I cannot say enough good things about this property from all the wonderful surprises (stocked coffee bar, complimentary toiletries, plenty of towels for a family of 5) to it being even more spacious than the pictures made it seem! Overall, this was the perfect getaway as we spent a couple days enjoying the backyard and water and then spent a couple days sight seeing making the about 2 hour drive into DC and the short 20 minute drive to Washington's birthplace right in Montross. « Easthaven is such a fun, family place to stay while on vacation. Clean, well equipped, relaxing and family oriented. We enjoyed kayaking, paddle-boarding, fishing, crabbing, visiting West Moreland State Park and the quant surroundings.
