« Rustic hunting lodge perfect for a large family gathering. The kids had the best time running around and making smores, we went on beautiful hikes in Shawnee National Forest, enjoyed the hot tub, and had plenty of space to cook for our family of 20. Plenty more space too! »

« Easy to find. Nestled into a little town history. Like meat? Buy some from the store next door, its local!If staying in winter, bring slippers. The concrete floors are chilly. Easy set up, full kitchen, clean. The home fragrance is overpowering for my preference, you may love it. Now all my belongings smell like a laundry mat, how fitting.Ideal spot to explore the area and hike.Fish on the river or watch the ships go by. »

« We were very pleased with everything. The house was beautiful inside and out. The surroundings were very nice and it was peaceful. We have never felt so relaxed. The host was easy to get in touch with whenever we needed which was not much. Because they had everything ready for us. I would definitely recommend if you are going to be any where around Marion or Sturgis Kentucky that you check out this beautiful peaceful place. We will definitely be staying here again sometime when I come to visit...

« The location was perfect and the host was more than accommodating. I recommend anyone who wants to stay in a quiet peaceful place and visit the national forest this place is for you. The only recommendation I have is check your email prior to going to the destination for instructions. The area is remote and cell signal is off and on. Once you arrive and access wifi your phone works perfectly. »

« The grounds are beautiful. The property is rundown, but the managers are slowly renovating and are open to suggestions. The view of the river from the shared back deck was lovely, but our experience was spoiled by an inconsiderate guest chain smoking upwind from us. »

« The cabin is lovely. The hosts had all the essentials plus all the little extra things that show they have pride in their property. The cabin is centrally located between several “must-sees” in the Shawnee National Forest. Just of note there are no grocery stores within about 30 minutes of the cabin.
