« Even better than the pictures. The cabin is an 1850s cabin that was reassembled on the property. It was adorable. Had everything we needed. The area is beautiful. There are several cabins and tree houses on the property but each has more than enough privacy from the next. We came with our two young daughters and they had a blast. We had a resident kitty that hung out on our porch, and it was the friendliest cat I’ve ever met! Kids were in love and had so much fun playing with the cat all...

« Very quiet, peaceful love the little cabin »

« This was the perfect out of the way place to stay! Had fires in the evening watching an array of birds, even a couple of owls flying around! Very quiet! There was even fresh eggs in the frig!! Well stocked kitchen! »

« The property was clean, the house was reallt nice and had many great features. It had dish washer, new stove/range top, dish washer, washer and dryer, nice shower and bathroom. The living room and dinning area was large for the one year old to have fun and explore and plenty of room for her big sister to have room to play too. The beds were great for two granddaughters and their parents with the bunk beds and the the other room left room for the grandparents. It had and nice outside covered...

« The home was perfect for the four of us (two couples) The home was as described and well stocked with towels, beddings, dishes and kitchen supplies. The deck and patio were perfect to relax on after a day of hiking in the Shawnee National Forest. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area. »

« We usually explore a city every year for our anniversary. This year, on our 12th year anniversary, we decided that we wanted to go somewhere where we could be alone and surrounded by nature. This was the absolute perfect getaway for us and we plan to come back with the kids! »

« We had a wonderful stay at this charming house in a lovely small river town! It was the perfect spot for “home base” for our family reunion held in Karbers Ridge — plenty of space, comfortable, and clean. We enjoyed exploring the area, walking to grab an ice cream, look at the river and a short drive away for delicious meals at Strickland Seafood in Paducah, and a lunch at Patti’s 1880’s, and we also had some fun at Harrah’s in Metropolis. This home made a perfect base for making family...

« Its beautiful, relaxing, clean cabin, super comfy beds, friendly/helpful hospitality and the pool was always clean! It was also nice that the host provides firewood! »

« While the house was further out from Paducah than we would have like, it was just as described. There was plenty of room for four quilters and their equipment The kitchen is amazing. We spent afternoons on the back porch with our wine and listening to the birds. Owners were responsive to our questions and needs. »

« We loved staying in the tree house. We came with our twin 19 year old daughters and while it was small there was plenty of room and beds were very comfortable. I think the expectation should be camping with very dry, comfortable enclosure air conditioned, heated and indoor plumbing! »
