« Perfect house for a long weekend exploring the Speculator area! Very clean and up to date but still feels like an escape. Walking distance from everything in town and countless hikes and things to see within a 10 minute drive.Very comfortable beds, super clean and functional kitchen with everything you could need. Shower, sauna, everything was top notch. If you've stayed at other places in the Adirondacks, you know some places can be a bit worn out but this is a really well kept property. Owners...

« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the yellow house in Speculator. The house is spacious, the kitchen is well equipped and the location is perfect for skiing. Some of us went to Oak Mtn and others went to Lapland Lake for X-country skiing. »

« Check in process was very straightforward. Place was very cute and cozy, and included all the basics such as a coffee maker, shampoo, conditioner, and linens. Got a little chilly at night but between the heater and the space heater we were perfectly comfortable. Nice and quiet location, <10 mins from Stewart’s. Be prepared to drive 20+ minutes for restaurants, especially if visiting off-season as many close seasonally. Overall a great place and a great value, would definitely stay here again! »

« The place was nice but, very small for a family of four. The shower was super small and the floor in-front of it felt like it might cave in. The beds were nice and the coffee was nice. We didn’t use the fire pit but, that was nice as well. It is very rustic like a lot of places in the area. But, we’re able to do what we needed to do. »

« We are a group of artists painting together in the Adirondacks for a week. It was the perfect size and price for us. The front porch was fantastic with its swing and lots of seating, up on a hill set back from the lake with a large house between the two. There is a walk through the woods to a dock that we swam from. The living room is the size of a tiny bedroom, it was disappointing but looking back at the photos it’s as they showed. « We had a wonderful stay over the weekend our daughter graduated from Skidmore College. The house is beautiful, very comfortable and about a 10 minute drive from downtown Saratoga Springs. The hosts were quick to respond to queries, the place was well stocked with basics and we would absolutely stay there again. Thank you! »

« Everything was perfect!About a 30 minute scenic, stress free drive to Saratoga race course. Very minimal traffic to and from the races.Great large hot tub overlooking the Hudson, dock for fishing, fire pit all perfectly maintained.Of course the house was beautiful, And very important to my back, comfortable bed mattresses.David is right across the street if you have any questions. »

« Great place to stay . Very Clean Decently stocked with your essentials. Would definitely recommend. My only issue was they told us there was AC and it did not have AC . They told us that the pullout couch was in the room with the closing door but i was not . Other then those Two issues Great place to stay , Great neighborhood, easy to work with and would definitely stay there agin if we came back the Lake george »
