« An older style resort - reminiscent of the 50’s and 60’s. Nothing fancy but comfortable and located on a nice part of the lake. Perfect for a quiet, relaxing getaway “away from the rest of the world”. »

« The place was amazing! We stayed in the two bedroom two bath cabin. It was right on the lake. It did rain most of the time, but we still enjoyed ourselves! They have a small swimming area and you can even rent boats at the place. The clubhouseis open 24 hrs. It's based on the honor system and that is pretty amazing! They have a small fireplace, tons of DVDs, pingpong, ice cream and more things to do at the clubhouse! The staff was amazing as well. They always text back and make sure everything...

« I hosted a company retreat here, and this place was incredible. There was plenty of room, though we planned to have more people and I think if everyone showed up as planned, we'd have been a little cramped. I would probably cap attendance at 16 people. The three levels of patio was my favorite part. And every level is well furnished. The theater was exceptional, as all the chairs we so comfortable and placed perfectly. The kitchen was nice and big, and the really high ceiling of the top floor...

« Our weather wasn't the best this week, but there was no shortage of things to do in the house. The game rooms were great. Anthony was a great communicator. Will look into renting one of Anthony's houses again. »

« Everything you need all right there, what more could you ask for! My family had a great time at the lake, the pool and hot tub was definitely a huge bonus for us. The band on saturday night was awesome as well as the food from the restaurant. Cabin was clean and made us all feel comfortable and gave us space to hang out as a family. Will definitely come back when we can! Thank you so much for our stay ❤️ »

« Our cabin was beautiful and so comfy. We had a great view of the lake with lots of extras. Two pools, boat launch, playground, ice machine, laundry and lots of grass space. I would highly recommend this cabin. »

« Nice house. Great rooms. Just beware there is only one bathroom upstairs where the king rooms are. Three downstairs. Outside patio is wonderful. Kitchen well equipped. The living room space had plenty of comfortable seating. We had a terrible week for fishing but the weather was fantastic! Very quiet and secluded. »

« Enjoyed our stay. Home was perfect and loved view. Decks were great and we spent alot of time there. Will consider staying there on next trip. »

« After having rented many years through VRBO, resorts, condos and houses, this was by far the cleanest and best we’ve had! There is nothing I would change about this house. The dock is great for swimming and the fire pit is awesome! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need. One thing you’ll need to pack on your own is beach towels, which some rentals have and others don’t. Not a complaint at all, just FYI for future renters. Thanks from a fellow Iowan!! »

« The slept our entire family of 8 comfortably, the parking is a little tricky but the host explains it well and we made it work. The private dock and quiet cove was enjoyed by all. Having a boat launch close the house was an added benefit as well. We enjoyed the location on MM44, it is definately a lot quieter and more to our liking than being at the lower mile markers. »

« Amenable hosts. Easy check in and checkout, as well as getting into the house. Had good space for the family and a reasonable checkout checklist. Nice view of the lake. We visit family at the lake often, and would definitely book again! »

« Our stay at "Make a Mistake Cabin" was no mistake. It was perfect. Driving through the winding roads and arriving at a quiet cove of Lake of the Ozarks, we arrived at the nicely-appointed, stocked, and well-kept cabin. Each day we awoke to see wildlife outside either side of the cabin, walked down the path to the large covered dock, watching fish jump all over the cove. In the 10 days there we caught over 70 fish, including several that were 2-5 pounds...bass, bluegill, crappie, drum, and...
