« What an amazing time we had at yala safari camping! The place is magical - completely immersed in the jungle, with trees as far as the eye can see and the mountains in the distance. Our « tent » (it’s not really a tent, definitely more like a luxury cabin) was in front of a lily pad pond and the sounds of the frogs made it a super relaxing place to sleep. « The accommodation is off-roads, 2-3 kms, needing a 4-wheeler drive (which the staff will pick you up on) to access. It is a bit remote, and takes a narrow dirt path, so I recommend arriving before dusk. The rooms are cute & comfy. There are telephone networks in the property, so Internet isn't an issue. « From start to finish the staff made our trip perfect. Incredibly friendly, attentive, always looking to do something a little extra to make your stay unforgettable. « Most peaceful sleep on our trip to Sri Lanka. There's something incomparable about going to sleep and awakening to the sounds of only the birds from Yala National Park. « Cuando llegas a este hotel ya te das cuenta que va a ser mejor que en las fotos y asi es! Las instalaciones son muy amplias, limpias y cuidadas. « Hotel a 3 km de la ville, assez éloigné sans service a proximité. Safari trés cher. J'avais résérvé une chambre mais a mon arrivée il n'y en avait pas alors on m'a proposé le dortoir au meme tarif se que j'ai refusé et aprés discussion j'ai obtenu une tente-chambre. Trés bien dans la grosse savane mais prés de la grande route pas nécessaire du tout. Personnel serviable mais on sans que l'argent et le but premier du centre. »

« The value for the money is great, a bit remote. We had issues with the payment from hotels.com since they insisted that we had to pay on checkout even though we had prepaid everything. They also claimed that they were not registered on hotels.com A couple of phone calls later everything sorted itself out so no harm. »
