« The bottom floor rooms share the outside kitchen and we all share the fire pit and front patio. We are a few blocks away from the water and close to food and restaurants and small stores. You can just walk to get around or rent a scooter right here from Pepe, the owner. He is very good at assisting with all your adventures. There is a great community vibe and we made so many great friends with the other guest while we were there. We had many big cookouts and feasts together. There are adults...

« This place exceeded all my hopes - beautifully set up with wonderful gardens, pool, hot tub and direct access to the beach. There was everything we needed and more - washer dryer, two bathrooms for fussy teens, ac, a perfect kitchen and extremely comfy beds. Gina and crew made us feel so welcome, and we loved Los Barriles itself. This was a terrific introduction to a part of Mexico we’ve not been in before, but will definitely return to! »

« Great for families!! Loved the ground floor condo and how the beach is right by the pool. My kids were back and forth all day. Beautiful sunrises and it’s fun to watch the boats go out in the morning and come back in the afternoon. The restaurant is absolutely delicious and we got drinks all day from the swim up bar. We will be back cause the place is so special!! »

« Our three generation family had a wonderful time at Casa Alvarado! The two casitas and four large bedrooms in the main house provided us with plenty of space so that we were together but not in each others’ space the whole week. The house is right on the beautiful beach where we snorkeled, swam and collected shells. Nice pool, hammock area and outdoor fire ring. The kitchen has everything you need. The owner Heidi has connections with a caterer, drivers and a sports fishing captain. all good...

« The entire building is beautifully decorated with stunning views on the sea and mountains. The room is spacious with great bedding. The breakfast is an exceptional experience and the staff super nice. The only thing is that depending on the night, dogs around can be pretty loud. The location is near the Malecon, but much quieter. »
