« The property was very clean and totally updated. Anything that you would need in the kitchen was available. They even included a lot of games, a record player and information about the surrounding area. It is located in a very nice residential area and very quiet. You can easily walk to town from the home. We really enjoyed staying there and the owners were very prompt with a response when we had a question. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area. »

« We travel to Dahlonega several times a year and have rented dozens of vacation properties. This property is our new favorite! The cabin is quiet and secluded, and nicely furnished. The real standout was the deck overlooking the Chestatee River. It's huge! We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings watching the birds, fireflies (or lightning bugs as we called them growing up), and other wildlife. We even saw an otter. « What a precious home-away-from-home! It’s a convenient distant from downtown Dahlonega and far enough to be quiet and peaceful. It is perfectly appointed with many personal touches to be far better than corporately-managed rentals. The lush forest around the property and outdoor seating make this rental even more special. We will definitely stay again! »

« The Blue Door door was amazing. We thought it had just been built and ready for renting because everything was pristine. Kim is a terrific host. She sent wonderful ideas about where to visit while in Dahlonega. All beds, including the sleeper sofa were very comfortable. The amenities were great, and the provision of coffee, creamer, etc. was very appreciated.Also wanted to re-thank Kim for allowing us in a bit early. Can’t wait to come back! »
