« The Ferry Inn is a combination hotel/pub with breakfast included on our booking. We ate dinner both nights in the pub restaurant. The food was good & they had several choices for each course. The location was excellent for the Scrabaster/Stromness ferry & it was easy to navigate to Kirkwall & all the sights. »

« This location was a great place to stay to explore Orkney. We loved the isolated and peaceful area. Plenty to do and see if you are prepared to drive a few miles. Spectacular cliff top walks with an abundance of bird life. The accommodation has everything you need for a self catering holiday. We stocked up with everything we needed from Tesco in Kirkwall after getting off the ferry. »

« The island and cottage were exactly what we needed. There was peace and quiet, which allowed us to slow down and breathe. The local residents we met were friendly and welcoming. The island needs a little investment but we really hope mass tourism doesn't ruin its tranquility. »
