« We rented this property to attend our daughter’s graduation from La Tech along with several family members. The house has been beautifully redone and was very clean. The host had several little nice touches - water, popcorn, flip flops, fuzzy socks, toiletries and even sleep masks. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us and we even had additional guests over after graduation and never felt crowded. It was very close to the college but the neighborhood was a little ran down.I gave 4 stars...

« Old trailer, floor is soft everywhere, didn't feel safe, bare bones furniture, broken doors and door knobs, way too much to charge for this. Paid 240 for the equivalent of a run down motel room. »

« I want to start by saying the location and price of Sylvan Lake quiet place was excellent. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. Also, our host was great about responding and answering questions when we had them. The cons for the trip were lack of organization in the house and cleaning supplies. We really struggled to find things in the kitchen to cook and eat with. Near the end of our stay we ran out of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. We searched but there was none throughout the...
