« This hotel has up side and quite a bit down sides. The big up side is the breathtaking view and the perfect staff (Gadjen). The down sides are both the fact that in order to go to Ella you must take a tuktuk. The owner taking advantage of the hotel isolation from the city and chrges unusually expensive rate for breakfast, whuch we were not informed in advance. 2 family breakfast cost as much as a night's stay in the hotel. »

"Pas facile de trouver l’hôtel, la route n’est pas forcément très pratique en voiture mais pas impossible. La chambre est confortable et la vue est a couper le souffle"

"Un vrai coup de cœur. L'hôtel est neuf, décoré et meublé avec beaucoup de goût, et il mérite vraiment ses 5 étoiles, pas juste sur le papier. Sampath et son équipe sont d'une chaleur authentique et amicale, toujours aux petits soins pour aider à organiser le séjour et anticiper le moindre besoin. Le restaurant est excellent, propose une cuisine locale mais variée et une carte des vins bienvenue. Le petit déjeuner est idéal pour démarrer la journée avec tout ce dont on peut imaginer et une qualité excellente. Les vues sur les montagnes d’Haputale sont époustouflantes, depuis la piscine, la chambre et sa terrasse, on ne s’en lasse pas. Un endroit qu'on n'oublie pas et qu'on recommande sans hésiter."

"We had an extremely enjoyable two-night stay at Ella Dream Catcher Resort. The hotel is easily accessible by car or tuk-tuk and is located about 10 minutes from the city center, offering a peaceful setting while still being close to town. The host was incredibly welcoming and always eager to help, which made our stay even more comfortable. He also prepared a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast that we really enjoyed. Our room was very nice, clean, and comfortable, featuring a balcony with a beautiful view over Ella. We also appreciated the mosquito net for the bed. Highly recommended without any hesitation."

"Nous avons passé deux bonnes nuits dans cet Hôtel. Des chambres propres, soignées et très spacieuses et avec balcon. l'accès à l'hotel est très pentu. A quelques dizaines de mettres du coeur actif de la ville une demi heure de marche du sentier qui mene au sommet du Little Adams peak. L'acceuil est trés sympathique."

"We had a great stay at 98 Acres Resort & Spa. The place is beautiful with a stunning view. The staff were very attentive, and we loved the varied and delicious breakfast. However, considering the price, we were a little disappointed with the room, which was very simple and rather small. The pool could also benefit from being heated"

"Séjour fantastique dans cet hôtel avec une vue à couper le souffle. L'hôtel est incroyablement situé, juste au dessus de la voie de chemin de fer, et à 5 minutes à pied de la rue principale d'Ella (ça grimpe pour revenir par contre). Superbe piscine, au calme et profitant de la vue. Le petit déjeuner est excellent. Les plats sont délicieux (parfois épicés, on est au Sri Lanka), ils servent aussi des cocktails, des lassi etc, et on a eu la chance d'inaugurer le stand de glaces ! Et le top du top : le personnel d'une gentillesse incroyable, un merci tout spécial à Tushara pour son accueil."
