« the only positive thing to say: the staff is pretty friendly and helpful. everything else was just very bad and we were deceived, it was not at all how we expected. it's a new (or renovated?) "hotel" (actually it's more like a guesthouse). but it isn't in a very good condition. when I took my shower, the installation of the shower fell on me! also there are cables in the shower cabine?! the bathroom had an horrible smell that didn't go away. There is a lot of humidity in the hotel...

« +++ Absolutely magnificent place with a wonderful history. The wooden features are beautiful and the bedrooms are outstanding. Wonderful snooker table and fireplaces. Lovely garden where you can sit and enjoy afternoon tea. The staff, especially Sameera, were absolutely excellent- they couldn’t do enough for us. « Property cancelled on us with less than 24hours before check-in (due to a maintenance issue, no further explanation given). No apology, had to haggle with Expedia customer sercice for obtain refund (because obviously the booking was non-cancellableat the point they cancelled on me).. Less than impressed ans cant recommend. »
