„I spent 10 nights here in November. This is a very clean cottage, very well maintained. The owner/host is awesome and was in the area taking care of his other cottages so I spoke with him a couple times. He even stopped by and dropped off a new air fryer for me one day. Worked out great for fish and crabcakes from Pahoa. What’s incredible about this place is the location. „Perfect location, can walk just a short walk to the ocean cliffs and sit and watch the ocean. You can even hear the waves at night from my room. Just a room with bed, microwave, fridge, and bathroom. Nice outdoor table area that is covered so you can eat outside. Highly recommend.“

„Sehr netter Empfang durch Karla. Die Unterkunft liegt mitten im Grünen, man hört nur die Natur. Die Unterkunft ist gut ausgestattet mit ausreichend Untensilien in der Küche und im Bad. Es ist alles vorhanden, auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt. Bodyboards, Sonnenschirm und Strandstühle sind vorhanden. Für einen Aufenthalt auf der Hilo-Seite sehr zu empfehlen. “

„We were using this place as a base, from which we explored the eastern half of Big Island. For us as a family of 4, it was a great place, which provided an individual room for both of our kids. We also really enjoyed the provided snorkelling gear and beach equipment. Communication with the hosts was very good. Our only minor point of concern during our stay was that the washing machine had broken down prior to our arrival and wasn't available to us, but we managed without.“

„Private secluded property; rustic but had all we needed. The bed was so comfortable, had two nights of great rest. Short drive to the park entrance and several options for dining. Stop at the general store in Volcano Village for sandwiches for your day in the park-easily one of the tastiest sandwiches we’ve ever had. Great stay, will be back!“
