« hôtel un peu excentré, mais avec une voiture de location on peut se déplacer en 30-45 mn sur toute l'île sans trop de difficulté. Prévoir de repérer les trajets sur google maps ou équivalent. le Verandah est très bon hotel pour un séjour en famille. nos enfants de 4 et 6 ans ont apprécié les activités offertes : piscine, mini golf, kayak de mer, baby foot, etc.. ainsi que la circulation en navette à l'intérieur du site. point négatif : le café, pas bon du tout »

« We rented unit D I believe, which is at the bottom past the pool. It is the closest to the water. This is a studio with a comfortable queen bed. The bathroom is lovely with a peek a boo view of the water- nice treat. At night with all the lights off you can see so many stars and the moon perfectly. There is a simply equipped kitchen but great for the basic cooking. There is also an outdoor kitchen by the pool which has a gas grill, sink, stove top and fridge. « The House at Willikies was an interesting stay. If you want to stay somewhere authentically Antiguan, with home decoration and a real home experience this is a great place. The property is large to UK standards and the grounds are immaculate. The views and sea access were the absolute selling point for me - stunning!Some of the downsides for us were unfortunately outside anyones control - we came in July and arrived during a particularly hot heatwave (yes in Antigua!), the property was stifling...

« Had a fantastic week here. Villa was surprisingly large and in a very nice condition. Long beach is a very short walk away but would recommend a car. Driving is not as difficult as I was expecting and the island is small so we managed to see all of the main sites and beaches very easily. Would recommend highly. »
