« So sad to see a what was once probably a lovely hotel now looking very tired and in need of updating. No aircon, marked carpets and tired bathroom. The only plus was the lovely receptionist who was very professional. When we arrived for breakfast, 80% of the tables had dirty plates and cups left and no-one clearing anything away yet there were 3 staff members milling around the bar area. Coffee machine out of order too! »

« A beautiful, charming property with so much character. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. Our suite was gorgeous and well equipped with lots of lovely touches. The pictures do not do it justice! The spa facilities were excellent with a lovely outdoor area to enjoy in the warmer weather. Dinner at the 1530 restaurant (we had the taster menu) was divine. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning. »

« We thought Hintlesham Hall was superb. Every member of staff that we came in contact with was friendly, helpful and eager to please. The accommodation was very clean and our room was well equipped with attention to detail. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and well presented. Afternoon tea was also a lovely experience. We enjoyed sitting in the pretty garden. We will definitely visit again! »

« Beautiful facilities - definitely book the spa and a treatment. The restaurant had a really intimate feel to it and the tables were nicely arranged. Great quality food and the breakfast was sublime (particularly the haddock). We will definitely return. Thank you Bedford Lodge for a fantastic birthday stay. »

« Nous avons réservés 2 chambres dont 1 a 3 personnes, pour pouvoir accueillir notre fille de 18 ans. Nous avons payés pour 5 et le lit installé pour la 3eme personne était à 30 com du sol avec une épaisseur de 5 centimètres... Au prix par personne j’ai trouvé ça limite. Le pire a été la salle De Bain avec WC avec une fenêtre transparente. Impossible de se lever la nuit pour y aller sans réveiller tout le monde. »

« Whilst the room was clean enough, it was very basic. No head board, poor mattress and 1 coat hanger to hang the clothes (on the back of the door) for 2 people staying in a twin room for 2 nights. Again, the bathroom was clean although there was little to no pressure in the shower and the sink tap came off in my hand. »

« A minor mistake made while booking turned my experience into a complete nightmare. Because of my dyslexia I booked Friday night instead of Saturday night (made the booking the night before, on Thursday). I got an email on Friday asking me how my stay was going, and I realised a mistake had been made. I then spent three hours (!) on the phone trying to resolve the situation, going round the houses. I had booked the room through Expedia because of this, neither the hotel nor Expedia wanted to...
