« Walked in room wasn’t ready offered to sit in the bar and wait. It was like going back to the 80s Butlins style. Dated hotel nothing warm and friendly and very dated & gloomy reception area was clinical and hospital like! Walked through the bar and out of the exit. Got into car and didn’t go back. Such a shame as had booked for a surprise for my husbands birthday. So dissatisfied. People who say first impressions count well this did and disappointed! Lost the money I had paid! « Everything was lovely. The room was a standard room, but very nice, clean, with everything you could want and well laid out. The hotel has a lovely feel, very calm and peaceful and relaxing. Upmarket, but in a nice way, where you feel at ease and comfortable. Staff are lovely, nothing too much trouble, extra pillows, towels etc. if you need them. « A very tired hotel, rooms & spa facilities. Bedrooms are in desperate need of refurbishment. Our sink & bath didn’t drain. The hand soap dispenser didn’t work. The spa is exceptionally tired. Mould around the sinks. Breakfast had a good selection but it had all been sat out for some time. Overall, a disappointing stay I wouldn’t recommend it. »
