I had come for hiking so I was not around too much but the space had everything I needed, including parking in front of the home. If you are looking for something super high end this is not for you. « Hosts were very communicative. Proximity to everything is within walking distance, although it rained while we were there so we decided to drive and park. The living room furniture and kitchen table are now different from what is pictured... Not good nor bad, just picture not updated. Of note, this is a very old shed/storage area converted into a one bedroom apartment. While it was very cute and quaint, there was a very heavy musty smell. They did have an air purifier going but didn't seem to...

« Everything was wonderful. Coming into a beautiful little home that was quaint And cozy, and have a decorated for Halloween with a few decorations was quite a surprise. It reminded you that you are headed into the fall season. The basket of treats was a welcomed gift and the water left in the refrigerator was extremely unexpected. We are both in our 70s and enjoy traveling and seeing a tiny home. This home gave us an idea of what we might be looking for in the future, however in a warmer climate...

« I loved staying at this cabin for my Elkin visit. It’s located about 17 minutes from downtown, and I was able to enjoy beautiful hikes each morning. It is so calm and serene, and I will definitely be back. »

« I have stayed in a lot of different homes and can't always give a 5 star rating but this homes deserves more than 5 stars. The house is beautiful, very clean, comfortable, and Betty would check to see if we needed anything. We sat out on the carport watching the rain and storm and it was BEAUTIFUL. I would absolutely recommend this home to my family and friends. I will be going back down to Mount Airy and will plan my trip to stay here again. »
