« Lovely, spacious rooms, environment considered (no silly plastic cups/shower caps). I saw the pool and jacuzzi water being tested twice whilst we were there. Only thing was that we had to pay for parking, but that was because we booked with a third party. Book with hotel. Breakfast lovely, maybe a few more pastry/bread choices needed. »

« Séjour agréable, nous avions une grande chambre avec une très grande hauteur sous plafond. On sent que l'hôtel mériterait une bonne rénovation mais c'est fonctionnel. Le plus appréciable était la piscine couverte que nous n'attendions pas (la piscine fermée est la piscine extérieure). Bon petit déjeuner à un tarif honnête (10£/pers) avec du choix (continental+english). Emplacement parfait pour découvrir le front de mer de Torquay. »

« Staff were lovely, location is gorgeous, rooms very outdated and in general the flow of constant tour buses full of elderly travelers made me feel like I was staying in a nursing home. Staff very rigid about breakfast timing and use of breakfast room not alllowed after 10:00am so if you are not an early riser, take note. Lift was also broken for full 4 nights of our stay and we were on the 3rd floor. »

« The spa was very nice and clean, but the hotel itself could do with some updating. Had to run the shower for 15-20 minutes to get any hot water, the bathroom needed a good clean, some staff in dining room at breakfast and cleaning staff very nice, rest need to learn to smile more. Food by pool ok but chilli 🌶 very watery as though had been defrosted, not what I expected from a 3 star hotel »

« Lots of steps for older or disabled clients. Toilet flush not very efficient. The pressure wasn't strong enough to flush properly. The decor in the room needed up grading. Not enough plug points. The room was nice, and large. Just seemed a little un-loved. »

« Staff were great and worked hard to cover all areas - especially Stephen, Jason, Bella and Jay. Appeared to be under staffed sometimes. Hotel - Great location and lovely views. Room - was not so great. Our bed was uncomfortable. Pillows were very thin. There was no chest of drawers to store clothes. Room had some cobwebs above the wardrobe and door. The bathroom door had a poorly repaired hole in it and iron burn/ mark on the carpet. No lift access to our room. Pool - The swimming pool and...
