« We loved our stay on Trout Lake! Check in was easy and as described. The kitchen was well-stocked and nicely set up for meal prep for our group of 7. We enjoyed the bi-level deck with a large table and chairs for 6 on both levels. The inside common area was plenty spacious for the one rainy day we needed to be indoors. Camp Hemlock was condusive for relaxing and enjoying the private and the quiet surroundings. Boyd pond is the perfect size for kayaking and fishing with the family. Overall this is the best location we have stayed in the ADK area. »

« I have stayed in VRBO homes from Washington to Maine and Costa Rica to Australia. I have never stayed at a home so thoroughly stocked with thoughtfulness to make my stay comfortable. The owner was quick to respond to an issue I had and resolved the issue. She has first aid kits, items travelers may forget like, toothbrushes, razors, shampoo... The furniture is comfortable, as is the bed. The kitchen had many appliances, dinnerware, utensils, even utensils for the grill, The huge grill was clean...

« Wonderful camp on Star Lake. The camp/house has plenty of room and all the amenities that you will ever need. The decor is perfect. The grandkids had a blast playing on the sandbar and exploring the lake on the kayaks. The hosts were super and responded to my inquire immediately. « The kitchen was very well stocked. Plenty of pots and pans and even an electric griddle for making pancakes. The refrigerator in the boat house saves lots of trips when you want to spend the day fishing on the dock. The foosball table was a delight for the grandkids (even though Grandpa was still able to beat them)! »

« Absolutely wonderful! The cabin is spacious yet cozy, clean and welcoming. We absolutely loved the screened porch and spent every evening chatting and playing games out there. We went kayaking on the lake, grilled out, played outdoor games, sat by the fire with complete privacy. This property is nestled in by the trees and the lake. Jane was an absolute fantastic host. From booking in February right through our trip, she was friendly, accommodating and answered any questions I had immediately....
