« We had hoped to experience "the real Ireland" and that goal was achieved. This apartment gave us a great central location for visiting the Midlands and East to Dublin. Pat and Una gave us such a warm welcome - we really felt like part of the family. Additionally, we spent some lovely evenings at Weir's Bar and Restaurant for great food, great drink and, best of all, Irish hospitality. »

« Unfortunately it took a while to understand how the heat for the showers worked. Also towels were only replaced once during the week and we had to wash our own towels at the laundry facilities. »

« Enjoying stay in this house thanks to many positive points : a lot of space in the house and also outside, very nice garden with a large variety of trees, peaceful place, no neighbour (or just cows), well located in the middle of Ireland which is usefull for people who want to visit Ireland from North to South, from East to West. I recommand ! »

« The Grooms Cottage was a rustic wonderful stay. It is in the country but really not far from shops. Having only 1 bathroom was a little difficult in the morning with 5 adults but they are working on an upstairs one, it just wasn't ready for our stay. I definitely would come back to the Grooms Cottage! »

« Ireland and this house exceeded our expectations. Four women ages 50-70. Everyone left completely satisfied. Host was helpful and kind. It’s in a remote area but we knew that before we went. A 2 minute drive into the town of Banagher and a 40 minute walk. »

« We really enjoyed this cottage. It was exactly as listed. So cozy and felt like home. Our host was lively and we loved the town. We enjoyed several meals at Giltrap Pub. Mattresses are still the kind with springs which was not a great fit for our backs but the rooms and duvet covers were just great!! Nice shower and bathroom. Overall, I’d recommend this cottage to all. We were able to make several day trips East and South. Great location if your renting a car. Thanks a million. »

« The hosts are amazing!! The house was wonderful and the property was everything as described. Lovely time on the lake kayaking. We were very well taken care of and Nicola and David were the loveliest hosts we’ve ever had. Highly recommend renting this lovely home if you just want to relax and enjoy the Irish countryside.
