« Nice hotel with a spa. Great location. Parking. Breakfast additional cost. Food good to excellent in restaurant. Staff some were excellent some not as interested in customer service. Would stay again. »

« Roanne was nice and the lodging was clean and convenient »

« Have to say the staff were good and very helpful and I have no problem with anyone working at the hotel. The atmosphere within the bar area was quite poor and the tv remote was broken so couldn’t watch sports. The main issue I had with the hotel was the music piped in through the obviously knackered speakers which as so distorted it was painful to listen too. We actually had to ask the breakfast staff to turn it down and they agreed it was terrible. Until this is resolved I can’t see myself...

« Room really dated, with very old bed and linen (even too short to cover from headboard to feet), smelly room as not being opened regularly and never breathed to the outside. WIFI is really poor with difficulties to connect, very low speed and frequent stops. Don't even hop for your mobile network, it's poor down the car park and just non-existent inside the entire hotel. »

« Location was good and also the matras was ok. The Bath and furniture were dated, Bath rust and mold. View from the window on garbage from hotel. We had lots of flies in the room. The TV was not working properly (bad receipt most channels). No soap and shampoo at shower (both empty). No cleanup room and clean towels for 2nd night. We paid for breakfast but was poor. On tables outside in the morning they left all the bottles and glasses. They are not looking after the place. Much much too...

« It was too cold in this hotel, the heater started at 5 pm and stopped around 9 pm. And then from 6 am until 9 or 10 am, so it wasn't enough for this kind of room in a this kind of hotel with bad insullation, only a simple glass window. The maximum temperature was 14°C. I sleept with pullover !!! And particulary in the shower room with only 12 to 14 °C I will never be in this hotel. »

« Basics but clean , brilliant location right near the town but no parking »

AWM . »

« Perfect location (two minute walk to daughter's house); excellent breakfasts, particularly the porridge; fun pub downstairs, loved a cappella rehearsal. »

« A fabulous hotel to stay in »

« Have stayed here numerous times, Food is good & comfortable room. »

« We had the perfect stay. The Owls Nest was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. From the comfy bed, hot tub and the Webber bbq all made it so relaxing. Dog friendly which was a bonus. Jenny & Margaret were great hosts. We appreciated the special touches. We had such a lovely time that booked to go again before we left. Highly recommended. »
