« Very good, nice quiet location, clean and tidy, comfortable. Nice buffet and evening meals were good quality. Staff a bit rushed but very helpful and friendly. Pub is very smart with a nice touch being fresh dalias on the tables. Only negative is that parking could be a problem as it is on street and quite busy. Would definitely stay again as I like real ale and the beer festival was only a short walk away. »

« Easy to find,short(ish) walk into town,quiet hotel (at least where we slept)nice breakfast facilities a "help yourself" didn't have an evening meal as we ate in town (plenty to choose from)if you didn't want a drink in the hotel bar there's a pub across the road "The Tollgate" plenty of outside seating and food available.A pleasant stay for our weekend. »

« Great location for our East Anglia base. Service was excellent and the staff very helpful. We stayed in the new wing which is spotless albeit spartan. Would be nice to have a micro and fridge. I didn’t play golf but think the management could put some investment towards course improvements. Someone told me there’s a focus on wedding bookings. I would say that marketing as a golf resort would compliment the wedding business nicely. In order to do this you have to have a really nice course and...
