„Wir wurden von Fam. Fox sehr herzlich empfangen mit einer Willkommenskarte auf dem Tisch und Nascherei und Wein im Kühlschrank. Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, komplett ausgestattet, ruhige Lage aber stadtnah mit sehr schönem Blick in den Garten und auf das Hinterland (Eype), wirklich ideal für 2 Personen. Gut gefallen hat uns auch das umfangreiche Informationsmaterial inklusive Großmaßstäbiger Wanderkarten für Bridport und Dorset. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Bridport bei Fam. ...

„we enjoyed one week at the seafront in Lyme: location and the atmosphere in the old house are fantastic. perfectly equipped for self-catering. good service by Mark Holmes. unfortunately, the house needs a little "new paint": it could be a little cleaner, - compared to our Swiss standard - (especially front and back-garden and cellars are not maintained), some stains on walls (of normal usage), some tiles are broken (in Shower)... lyme Regis and Jurassic coast are great. Fossil Walk is a Must!“

„Perfect for us! Staying with a 7 year-old and a dog it can be hard to find places. This was a great base and the owners could not have been more helpful. We were spending time in Lyme, but this is only 20 minutes away, a quieter place to retreat to, and less expensive too. Recommend it wholeheartedly“

„This was a perfect place to stay for the two of us. It was even better than the pictures. The owner was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. She left us lots of treats and basic supplies which were over and above what you would expect and saved us having to dash to a shop. The pretty outdoor area has an undercover part that was perfect for shade and a private part that has two sun loungers, a table and chairs. It has countryside views and was very peaceful. „It took us a few minutes to find the door to the apartment from Broad Street, but once we got our bearings and into the property it was was fantastic, well decorated, well equipped and just the right size for 2 with a dog. Added bonus of a private garden with terrace and wood fired hot tub. Weather was hit and miss, but didn’t matter, the village of Lyme has a good variety of shops, eateries and bars, beach and promenade within 100 metres, the property was right at the centre so perfect. „We loved our stay in Westgate. Mark was an excellent host and the accommodation was clean and well equipped. All rooms were spacious and the beds and sofas were comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchens were modern and good quality. The entire flat was well lit and the surrounding grounds and countryside provide stunning views. The property is close to the A35 but the sound of traffic is barely audible inside the property. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return in the future. Thank you.“
