    La chambre sentait le moisi. La photo de la façade de l'hÎtel n'à rien à voir avec la réalité.

    MÄ si ut i fra bildene sÄ sÄ det hotelet fint ut. Ok resepsjon da vi kom, men nÄr vi fikk hotel rommet sÄ var gangen fÞre rommet...store mÞkkete flekker og tror teppet har liggi siden 1960 tallet. Rommet var slik det og...mye flekker og slitasje. Vi hadde bestilt rom til 3. Og der sto det en seng de hadde laga sammen som nesten ikke holdt seg pÄ beina. Betjeningen kan vi ikke fÄ fullrost..men hotelet vil jeg aldri tilbake til!     Washrooms not been maintained / Upholstery - curtains not been changed in a while. Room overlooked a very dusty building so could not keep the curtains open / dim lighting / table lamps don't work / carpets not changed / Sorry breakfast offerings / Service at the restaurant / Plastic tea spoons for tea - coffee / varied cutlery on the same table / plates not clean - if washed not wiped / shoe shine machine never worked / Elevators being used by employees making one wait /

    Not recommend hotel

    It was the worst experience, I was tired and I took more than an hour just to get my key and no one even apologize or take care of me except the Indian guy who took my stuff to the room.

    Good for travellers not a holiday getaway.

    Stayed for over ten nights. Staff are amazing.Very helpful. Requires modernisation. especially bathroom. breakfast was good, but they need to add more variety.

    Good Stay

    I stayed at Gulf Paradise for 3 nights as I was in Doha on Business. The check in and check out was fast. The room was ready when we arrived, so we didn't have to wait. Free Wifi in the room was very good. I tried the breakfast buffet once. Although it wasn't a huge buffet, but it was tasty and good. Cleanliness in the room good. furniture was a little old. Overall, my stay was OK, i knew i was checking into a 3 star hotel, so i didn't expect anything extraordinary. The staff were always welcoming, helpful, and smiling. If I ever return on business to Doha i would stay there. Good service for the amount of money spent.

    Good filor big family

    We stayed in three bedrooms apartment. The hotel in general was very good. The location is near Souq Wagif . The staff were not friendly. The breakfast was small and not alot options . The rooms were big and clean .

    Bad Experience

    We booked a 3 bedroom apt. It was very large but full of smell of smoking and rotten dirty carpets. Old style wall AC units + Split units with good cooling but toooooo noisy. Worst of all, all bathrooms have some serious issues. Because of so many issues, they moved us (Manager Islam was very cooperative) in a 3 bed room Penthouse with much cleaner furniture and carpet. Main problem is that they don't have water chiller for the water supply they are sroring in their tanks, i.e to cool the 45-50 degree Celsius city supply water to a decent temperature. SO-----> you cannot take a shower after 10 am, even at 10 pm it is HOOOOTTTT. Even you cannot use Muslim shower as water is almost boiling. We have to arrange a water bucket and water bottles in the bath rooms. Breakfast was pathetic, no bakery products (like cake, pastry, croissants, flavored bread etc), no dairy products variety (like flavored milk, yogurt, laban) , same every day, low quality food, at 9:45, we have to wait for 30 minutes so they can bring some thing. Parking was toooo hot with no exhaust. Also make sure to bring your own towels with you, their towels are very old and actually half of them are shredded. Location was very central. Will not recommend this to any one, especially with kids

    Not Paradise

    Gulf Paradise Hotel was in the Gulf but it definately was not Paradise. With most hotels running over $200 per night in Doha, I chose the hotel for its price and from the online description it seemed as though it would be OK for a place to sleep. It wasn't. It was billed as city center but was on a side street across from what appeared to be an abandoned building complete with grafitti. It was a dangerous 25-minute walk to the corniche with several busy roads that took up to 10 minutes to safely cross and I would not have attempted the walk at night. Taxis were not readily available from the hotel and the hotel had a limosine service that was not available when I was there. This greatly hindered my visit. The hotel itself on first look was about what I expected, a bit older with a musty smell but adequate. The room looked OK until I opened the bathroom door. The bathroom was so tiny one's legs had to go under the sink if using the toilet. The base of the shower was lined with black mold. The room looked out onto a dirty alley and the early morning prayer (approximately 3:30am) was so loud it literally sounded as if someone were standing next to me with a bullhorn. Although I did not feel unsafe I did feel very uncomfortable as a Western female staying there alone. For me, the Gulf Paradise Hotel seriously diminished my enjoyment of my three-day holiday in Doha.
