« Room was spacious, great shower. However the room we were in (an upgraded room) was over the kitchen and every morning at 7am something started up and all we could hear was the hum of it which is annoying when you would like a lie in. We ate both nights in the pub. The food is good but very pricey. On our 2nd night we both had a special which was gammon, 1egg, chips, pinapple and piccalily. « Lovely country pub, perfect for a stop over or to stay a few nights in the countryside. Staff were friendly and thoughtful, the food was excellent, and the restaurant/beer garden out the back was lovely in the warm summer eve. »

« The breakfast was, I’d say, better than in a Hotel Ibis. The food was, definitely, locally sourced. We reached Bruton and the Hauser & Wirth arts complex easily from this hotel. We also visited the Jurassic Coast, but that took us a whole day, and we returned by 10pm. »

« Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel-pub situé dans un quartier résidentiel très calme. Nous avions une grande et belle chambre très propre avec literie confortable. Le pub ferme assez tôt même en week-end (23h) donc nous n'avons absolument pas été dérangés pour dormir. Très bon petit déjeuner à l'anglaise avec plusieurs choix possibles. Personnel très sympathique. »
