My stay with my teenage son at this beautiful home was nothing short of magical. Staying here felt like stepping into a memory-like being a child again in a place where the world slows down and you feel completely safe. The home held warmth that is hard to put into words. The hosts were incredibly kind and generous, and their care could be felt in every detail. The lake is so clear, and neighborhood is friendly. I shared a special time here with my son, and it's a place we'll both carry in our hearts. I left feeling deeply restored and grateful. We will be returning in the future for sure. Thank you both for the unforgettable experience. You will not regret booking with these hosts and the time spent at their wonderful home.

Home away from home

We loved our stay here. We wanted a quiet place to stay for an extended weekend and this was the perfect spot. My kids loved the pier, the kayaks, and the bikes. I loved the giant couch and the view! The pictures didn't show off how amazing this house really is so when I walked in I literally said "Wow!". The house had everything you could possibly need. Thank you for letting us stay at your property. We will definitely be back again.

Beautiful Home on the Lake!

This home is so beautiful we wished that we could’ve extended our stay! It was immaculate when we arrived and we had a great time using the provided lake amenities! The lake itself was gorgeous as was the surrounding neighborhood. We’re looking forward to coming back next year!

Great lake house

We loved staying here! The house was clean, comfortable and modern and had everything we needed. The lake is perfect for kids - there's a sandy beach and large shallow area in which to wade. We also appreciate that there were plenty of things for kids to play with including a bunch of games and toys. Would definitely stay here again.

Annual “Girls Weekend”

The property was the absolute perfect location and accommodations for our group of women who gather once a year to relax, swim, float, and enjoy “girl” time. Everything we needed at our finger tips. The host was responsive when needed very thoughtful about the needs of those staying at the property for all ages. We are hoping to return next year!

Pretty lake

This home was perfect for us. The lake was shallow enough that the young ones could be in the water and the big kids loved the jayaks and oaddke boards. It couldn't have been better.

Amazing vacation spot

This property is amazing. House is beautiful and nicely laid out with many extras. The outdoors is paradise with a beach, many water toys, patio furniture, and fire pit. Hosts respond immediately to any questions. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Children's paradise

We had a wonderful stay at this lake house. The amount of toys/games/lake essentails/bikes this house was equipped with blew us away. The kids were never bored. The water was warm and 2-3ft for most of the pier area which was perfect for our 3-5year age group. House was very clean and host were greay with communication. We will definitely book again!

Family lake vacation

We had an excellent stay. Lake was great for kids! Home is well-appointed and clean. Hosts are very responsive and helpful. Of note, there was a crib set up for our baby and other items like a high chair and many books/toys that made our stay very easy!

Exactly as advertised

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at this rental property… This place is amazing. The second you get there you know why they call it “Pretty Lake” The house and property are gorgeous. Beautifully furnished and the overall decor is just right for such a cute lakefront property. The house is also fully equipped with everything and anything … every dish, utensil, pot, pan, coffee maker, tea kettle, dishwasher, washer/dryer… literally everything you’ll need and then some. Air conditioned, amazing views through the huge lakeside windows… the beds are super comfy… wifi… Netflix…there’s even a piano! Just show up and enjoy… oh and the lake is also just perfect, it has a soft sandy bottom everywhere, not even one rock, seriously it’s perfect… the water is shallow and super warm, and completely crystal clear. The private beach and shallow water is perfect if you have little ones… Honestly, this place is everything you’re looking for…do yourself a favour and just go ahead and book it.

Wonderful stay!

We had a group of adults and an 18 month old and everything was perfect. The property and house were clean, the house was stocked with everything we would need, plenty of kid toys and excellent communication with the host the whole time! Couldn't recommend this property enough!

Baby Perfect

Nicely appointed, beautiful home and location, comfortable. Perfect for our family, particularly for our 6 m. old grand baby. The crib, high chair, washing machine made our stay so easy. We hope to have an opportunity to stay there on our next family visit.

visit to Milwaukee area

We had a lovely time at George and Angie's place. They have a beautiful house on Pretty Lake. This is one of those rare cases in which the reality was even better than the photos! The kids especially loved taking the kayaks out on the lake. Highly recommended if you're visiting the Milwaukee area. Thanks for sharing your house with us, George and Angie.

A Lovely Home in a Beautiful Wisconsin Lake Setting

Four generations together -- eight of us with an age range from 1 to 86. Everyone enjoyed this lovely home, and found it comfortable when awake, and while sleeping. The number of nice toys and books and games for children, and the water toys and bicycles and balls were all a hit and helped to keep the young ones entertained. Pretty Lake is aptly named, and the exterior sitting areas, beach, etc. were enjoyed. The great grandparents in our party owned a lake property similar to this one for many years, so our event felt even more intimate -- not a sense that could be experienced at a hotel. We highly enjoyed this property and appreciated the owners for making such a lovely place available for family enjoyment.

Little Gem on the Water

We had a WONDERFUL experience at this property! We traveled with 2 children (4 and 2) and this home had everything you could ask for. We didn't have to worry about renting any baby gear. The house was also stocked with a BUNCH of books, toys, and games, so there was never a lack of activities. The lake itself was great - especially for kids. It was no deeper than approx 2 feet for yards and yards, so the kids could play safely. We would book this house again in a heartbeat!

Amazing place

We had so much fun! There was a lot to do and we were able to stay busy the whole time at the place. The water was perfect for everyone. We had access to kayaks, paddle boat, life jackets, beach toys, bikes, kids toys, and so much more!

Gem on Pretty lake

Beautiful home on Pretty Lake. Pictures don't do it justice. Had a great time, enjoyed using the cayaks and SUPs. Perfect location outside Milwaukee area and close to Kettle Moraine State Forest and many hiking trails. Kettle Moraine Golf course nearby is another gem. Highly recommend for an adult getaway or family vacation.

Pretty Lake House

This home and property was amazing. Everything we needed as we had limited packing space on our motorcycles. We enjoyed going into Milwaukee and surrounded dealership for the Harley Davidson 120th Anniversary. We enjoyed kayaking and trying the paddleboards on the lake. We were busy and the lake house gave us time to relax.
