« Great hotel in the countryside not to far from Edimburgh, the staff was very Nice and welcoming. The room for 4 was confortable under the roof. The Bell of the Church ends at 11pm. The breakfast and the dinner are delicious and copious »

« A 200 year old pub and inn - interesting ! Unfortunately our room was fairly horrible, we definitely got the hotels.com room : 200 year old mattress, wall view, kitchen vents under the window and lots of noise when we (or the neighbours) ran any water. Food in the evening was good and breakfast ok (very dingy dining room). Everything needs an overhaul. The staff were great though ! »

« This is a lovely B&B very conveniently located within walking distance to town where there are cute shops and very nice dining options. Our room was large and very nicely appointed with high-quality furniture and antiques. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Jennifer and Mark are wonderful people who truly care about their guests. Highly recommended! »

« The house is beautiful and rooms were quiet and nicely decorated. One negative was that there was no toilet paper in the bathroom, so I had to go shopping. The bed linen was very clean and the room bright, even though it was a basement room. Unfortunately, on the morning of leaving, the fire alarm sounded continually, and although the guests waited outside, there was no staff present to switch off the alarm or check the situation. Other than that, a good place to stay. »

« Stayed here over Christmas whilst visiting family in Dunbar. The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed for our short stay. Great view over the harbour and beyond, from a lovely sunset one day to stormy waves crashing on the beach the next day. Really responsive communication from the hosts. »
