« Une très grande chambre avec un séjour mais malheureusement une literie déplorable. Sur une vingtaine de nuits passées à l'hôtel lors de notre voyage au Canada, sans doute la plus mauvaise literie du séjour avec l'impression de dormir assis dans le lit. Le petit-déjeuner est servi à la cave dans une salle sans ouverture sur l'extérieur. J'ai même vu des vélos rangés dans la salle. (en fait, des salles de séminaires reconverties). « Room photos on expedia showed a room that had been nicely renovated but our room was one that clearly hadn't been done yet. Place didn't seem full so I'm guessing not very many rooms look like the pictures. There is a pretty big difference between the room we got and the pictures they show so it's hard not to feel a bit deceived. Sound proofing is lacking so we could hear car doors slamming for most of the night. Staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean. Location is close to local...

« Oh boy...I greatly dislike writing negative reviews. While Chemainus is adorable, the location is fantastic and the exterior is a dream...this aint it. Mouldy drapes, a number of amenities were broken (electric fireplace, mouldy fridge), no wifi, questionably clean bedsheets. And (I have photos as proof) a white substance residue left on the counter next to the bed. I will say that the indoor jet tub was amazing! I swear I heard a cough below us at one point and noticed a little door that looked...

« The Cottage and Castle is absolutely charming, beautifully decorated and situated in a lovely neighborhood of colourfully painted houses and As well it is anIt’s a real gem. However as we returned after an evening out the stench in the air from a soil, composting, wastewater and recycling treatment plant was overwhelming. I there is a solution to this as Chemainus is a charming town and the Cottage and Castle was exceptional! »

« Le Lach Inn est bien situé. J'ai bénéficié d'une belle chambre au rez-de-jardin. L'ambiance est sereine, le décor surranée nous ramène vers le passé, de façon positive. C'est une bonne idée d'afficher les photographies des gens qui ont vécu dans cette maison. On voudrait en voir plus. Le personnel était très affable. Petit bémol, les tapis auraient besoin d'un bon nettoyage en profondeur. Le stationnement est un peu loin. Si on doit prendre la voiture le soir, ceci est un inconvénient. »
