The area is well placed for exploring further afield. Dundee is just a short drive away, while St Andrews, Carnoustie and Glamis Castle can all be reached within around 30 minutes. For those looking to explore the outdoors, the Angus Glens offer excellent walking routes a little further afield.

Broughty Ferry train station and regular bus services are both within easy walking distance, providing straightforward access to Dundee and surrounding areas.
