Die River Bend Ranch ist eine private Ranch in Durango, Colorado, nur 10 Minuten von der historischen Innenstadt von Durango entfernt. Unsere Kabine mit drei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern befindet sich inmitten der Weiden und Kiefern auf unserem privaten Forellenteich und verfügt auch über eine überdachte Terrasse mit einem Holzofen.

Wir befinden uns auf dem Million Dollar Highway im Animas Valley auf dem Weg zum Purgatory Ski Area (20 Minuten) und nach Silverton (50 Minuten).

Wissenswertes über Ihren Aufenthalt.

Wir sind ein arbeitendes Pferd und eine Rinderfarm, aber unser Betrieb wird Ihren Aufenthalt nicht beeinträchtigen. Wir haben auch einen Weltklasse-Hochzeits- und Veranstaltungsort an einem 5-Morgen-See in der Nähe der Hütte. Sie haben Zugang zu den Außenbereichen auf dem Grundstück, es sei denn, eine Veranstaltung findet gerade statt, was Ihre Nutzung der Kabine, des Decks und des Teichs natürlich nicht beeinträchtigt. Und Sie haben immer Zugang zum Animas River.

Unser privater Forellenteich liegt etwa 20 Meter von Ihrem Achterdeck entfernt. Es ist nicht eingezäunt und Sie müssen genau auf Kinder oder diejenigen achten, die nicht schwimmen können. Bitte reservieren Sie die Unterkunft nicht, wenn Sie Sicherheitsbedenken bezüglich des Zugangs zum Teich oder zum Fluss Animas haben.

Der Durango Silverton Train fährt täglich vor der Unterkunft (vormittags und nachmittags).

Stornierungsbedingungen: Eine Zahlung von 300 $ ist zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung erforderlich. Diese Zahlung in Höhe von 300 USD wird auf den Gesamtbetrag angerechnet und ist nur innerhalb von 72 Stunden nach der Buchung erstattbar. Wenn Sie innerhalb von 45 Tagen nach der Buchung anreisen, muss der Gesamtbetrag zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung bezahlt werden. Bei Stornierungen oder Änderungen, die zu einem verkürzten Aufenthalt führen und innerhalb von fünfundvierzig (45) Tagen vor dem Ankunftsdatum erfolgen, verfällt der gesamte Buchungsbetrag, während Stornierungen, die mehr als fünfundvierzig (45) Tage vor Ihrer Ankunft erfolgen, verfallen die 300 $ Zahlung zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung. Bei Buchungen von mindestens dreißig (30) Nächten erhöht sich die Stornierungsfrist auf sechzig (60) Tage vor dem Ankunftsdatum. Wir bieten eine Reiseversicherung an.

It’s hard to explain just how wonderful, beautiful and peaceful the whole property is. We wanted to stay where we would see wild game and beautiful scenery of Colorado. God provided it all! Wedding/Anniversary Getaway

The place was absolutely beautiful. My nieces wedding was at this venue so it worked out perfectly for us. It was our 1st wedding anniversary so we decided to make a weekend of it. The only thing that was a minor issue was that the sprinklers came on while we were trying to load up our truck lol. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, well maintained property

The property is in a great location, conveniently close to downtown! We really enjoyed the outdoor barbecue area and the surroundings. We saw deer hanging out near the pond almost every night. Seeing the train go by every day was really cool and inspired us to take a ride on it ourselves! The only complaint I have is the pots and pans were really scratched up and worn out. Other than that the cabin was very clean and cozy - especially the recliners!

This house was perfect! We rented this house after another house failed us. It was perfect for our almost 1 year old to crawl around and play. We also still felt like we were “in the mountains”. Our favorites were the train that came by multiple times in the morning and afternoon and the deer that came to eat the apples in the front yard.

Great cabin for anytime of the year!

It was very quaint country cottage the rooms were perfect for 4 adults and 1 child the amenities in and around property were great love this place definitely will be back, we met Dan the owner very nice gentleman and very accommodating thank you for having such a beautiful venue and if anyone Is thinking of getting married this is the place also they have that ability and the barn/event hall is beautiful!

Relaxing Family Getaway

We had the best time on this property. Beautiful scenery, lots of room for kids to run around. I loved sitting by the pond with my morning cup of coffee taking in the quiet and beautiful surroundings. We got a lot of family time in hanging out in the large patio, playing board games and grilling. The house was clean and beautifully kept. We loved every minute of our stay here and hope to be back next year!

COVID Thanksgiving

Overall, a great place to get away, out of the city. Take a walk to the ponds, do some quick fishing, see the wildlife on the property. The kitchen was missing some things... measuring cups, can opener, extra silverware, ice! Also, for a cabin that will sleep 6, the living room only sits 5 people, unless someone wants to sit on the floor! The couch and chair provided were not comfortable. Feels like it was the old furniture taken out of the main house somewhere. The bedrooms were clean and bathrooms were stocked with towels and supplies. The price was decent, but considering all of the “fees” that added to the price, that is obnoxious. The cleaning fee is a joke, considering you have to load the washer and dishwasher before you leave and upon entering the house, we had patches of cobwebs around the kitchen lights. Again, a very nice property but not sure if I would stay again. Feel a bit robbed on price.

Amazing stay, surrounded by the beauty of nature!

First, we will definitely be back to stay!! We did so many active things within a few miles from the property, but our favorite part of our stay was coming back to the property and relaxing on the beautiful grounds while the kids ran around and explored. It was so relaxing, with breathtaking views. The property has everything you need to thoroughly enjoy your stay. We had SO many friends asking where we were staying based on the pictures we posted, however, photos do not even do this place justice. Icing on the cake was the property manager was so helpful and friendly. Thank you for a perfect end of summer stay - both kids and adults want to come back soon!!

Fabulous Fall break

The location of this property was perfect, close to town and the mountain, with so much space and privacy. The ranch owners were available, kind and very helpful. We loved everything about our stay .... exploring the ranch, fishing, the Animas river and paddle boating, s’mores around the fire, beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The kids were delighted to wave to the train going past just a few times a day... such a fun treat. There was a fenced in area for our dog To run around outside, and plenty of space to walk her around the property. We felt very little need to leave the property at all. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for allowing us to share your paradise for a few days.

Perfect getaway

We loved our short stay at the River Bend Ranch. It was better than expected. My husband loved having the trout pond to fly fish in. The house was cozy. I'm not sure how anyone could complain about not having ac. It was unseasonably warm while we were there. It was 93 degrees and the house felt great with the breeze coming through the windows. We just shut the blinds and wondows where needed before we left for the day. They offered a wonderful selection for us to pick out a bar of handmade organic soap. What a treat! Our dog loved the space and the freedom to run. The outdoor living space was perfect. The covered deck with the wood stove overlooking the pond and the beautiful mountain backdrop was our favorite place to unwind after a day of exploring and have our morning coffee. We would definitely stay there again. Next time we will stay longer. We weren't sure if we'd like being that far from town (we spent 4 nights in downtown Durango) but it turned out the peaceful setting was relaxing and close enough to go into town.

Beautiful property and a great getaway

Our family of 4 (plus our 2 dogs) had a wonderful stay in Durango. The property is so close to town, but still secluded. We really enjoyed the ponds and the quiet nights. The Silverado train goes right by in the morning and our daughter enjoyed running out to wave at the passerby. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely Ranch Setting

The property is beautiful and in a location that affords easy access to all Durango has to offer. The house is lovely and comfortable and the outdoor covered deck a wonderful space to enjoy the spectacular views. We were able to walk all around the property. The owners and people working on the place were warm and friendly. We had a great week there.
