Vacation with the grandsons

Our two night stay was wonderful. The location was great…just a few minutes from downtown, but quiet and peaceful. The unit was super clean, well-appointed, and featured great amenities. We enjoyed everything from the Aveda products provided in the bathrooms, to the comfy beds, to the amazing video collection. It was perfect for our needs (and wants)!

Check in was easyThe unit was nice although an older building, slightly musty. There were updates such as to the bathroom.We would have preferred central air rather than window units to cool the rental during a hot July.Unfortunately, the pool which we had planned to use extensively went out-of-service after our 1st day for the duration of the stay.The location is nice - quiet and a quick drive, bike ride or lengthier walk into downtown Durango.

Upstairs bedroom was very impractical to get to up narrow circular stairway. Dish washer was broken. Air Cons were old, noisy, and ineffective. Downstairs twin beds were very uncomfortable. Place needed update on furnishings. We were without water for two days due leak in neighborhood. No fault of owner but credit should have been given. Property was not VRBO standard. Not happy!

Nice getaway spot

We had everything we needed in this fun, quirky place! It was well appointed with supplies and was as spacious as we expected. The place was easy to find and minutes from great restaurants, white water rafting and the historic & beautiful downtown. The little reading book in master bedroom was delightful. The view isn’t great- surrounded on all sides by other condos, but it wasn’t a deal killer. Pool was in great condition. The upstairs toilet does make quite a racket but it didn’t disturb anyone downstairs. And the decking throughout the complex looked like below average construction, but again it wasn’t a deal breaker! A solid 4-4.5/5.0.

We wanted to use Durango as our base to get around local or nearby sites. The location couldn’t have been better and the condo was perfect for my family of four! The condo was well stocked, with loads of games, dvds and VHS options! The swimming pool on the property was great too! The management company was very responsive and the check in process was a breeze! We will happily return!

Quick 4th of July jaunt

We had the opportunity to use the space as a jumping off point for taking in the beauty of the region. We weren't at the property a ton, but when we were it was a great space for meals, movie watching, a morning cup of coffee, and generally just enjoying time with family.

Nice Condo with good location

This Feringway condo was easy to get into, with few steps.. The directions to the condo were good. It snowed the whole time we were there, and no issues in and out of the parking lot or walkways. Comfortable living room. Upstairs toilet is noisy when flushing, but that may be because of the logistics. It worked well. We had a good time!

Family friendly condo for skiing

Clean, conveniently located to town and only 30-45 minute drive to the ski resort, the Ferringway condos are a good pick for ski vacations. The property management keeps the sidewalks and stairs cleared of heavy snow. The unit is well stocked with helpful hints (water gets hot quickly, etc.) that are practical. Great bed in the loft with seating area in addition to the others beds available.
