The kitchen has everything you need to make full meals you can enjoy in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the stunning valley. The house is an easy drive to Willoughby lake and Mt, Pisgah for a day of hiking. « Beautiful quiet and peaceful area, me and my daughter enjoyed a mini getaway to Faraway Pond. The adorable cottage had all the amenities needed and we loved the scenic view of the pond and the kayaks. Got some awesome sunset pictures! Mary was super responsive and thoughtful. We wouldn't hesitate to come back for another visit. I bet the Fall foliage is gorgeous. »

« A very quiet and great location house. Close to the town center, stores, and points of interest. The host is pretty helpful from the beginning to the end. Definitely, I recommend this house if you have a big family or group. »

« We had a great stay with our large family! The house was set up great and very clean! It was easy access to the public beach area (walk across the street) and a quick drive to a few local places to eat/coffee. Our host was very responsive with a few questions we had throughout our stay. Great for a long weekend away! »

« My granddaughter and I had a fantastic time. We witnessed a turtle laying her eggs and enjoyed the awesome bird songs. The farmhouse was extremely well kept and very comfortable. We had such a great experience. I know we will return again and again. »

« We were delighted with how new and well outfitted the house is. Loved the large screen porch with 4 rocking chairs and all the Adirondack chairs on the wharf. The bright yellow chairs on the wharf were so cheerful and made it easy to find our way back when out on the lake. Great access to the water, both from the large U-shaped wharf and from steps down to shallow sandy lake edge. On a cool night, it was so nice to have an working inside fireplace. « We were so impressed by this cabin house. The location is surrounded by trees and nature which made for a peaceful, private, escape. The house itself was absolutely gorgeous, very large and accomodating, and spotless. We were so happy we chose this house for our family vacation.
