« We were booked to stay in this cottage, however due to a maintenance issue, Nan reached out a couple of days before and offered us their other cabin, located right next door. She and her family offered to move so that we could stay there and not be disturbed by the maintenance workers. So while I cannot speak to this cabin, I can say that Nan was an excellent host and her property was clean, well-stocked and lovely. Would happily rent either cabin from her again. »

« The property was spacious and clean, with full kitchen and a wide range of pots and pans, baking sheets, mixing bowls, utensils, etc. Wifi worked well. The location was awesome, just a short walk to Elk Lake, and a short drive to the village of Elk Rapids, plus Traverse City and the whole wonderful area! Lot's of fruit and pie stands along the roads, and orchards everywhere! »

« From the curb you might think there's no way its as big as listed. The house goes deep. Plenty of room on the main floor for entertaining with almost all bedrooms upstairs. Clean, plenty of cooking utensils and sil erware. Hosts are quick to respond. Perfect for our group. »

« This was a lovely cottage with a great location. The dock out back was great and so convenient for our boat that we brought with us. The water toys provided were put to good use. Across the road was direct access to walk out to the famous sandbar. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The new grill was great for cooking and the fire pit near the water was awesome. Minor issues include 1 parking spot directly in front of the cottage and due to the heavy traffic on Crystal Beach Rd, it is hard...

« Older cottage that has been restored very nicely. Bedrooms were large and comfortable. The outside was very spacious and soooo quite. You can walk to the beach and yet was very close to Charlevoix. Gerry was a great host and saw to our every need.Thanks »
