„What a perfect Getaway! Can I give higher than a 5 star rating? The VRBO depiction on the website was spot on. What was advertised was what we were delivered. The host was so attentive and helpful. The property was sprawling, deer wandering through the yard, birds singing overhead. A perfect spacious property but cozy at the same time. Super clean as well. „Quick family trip to get away for a few days. The house was perfect for our family. Very clean and has a great view of the lake. It’s on a great part of the lake. Close to many things but between two bridges so not many boats are coming through. House was amazing. “

„Except for the trains, it was rather quiet. The floors could be cleaner in the cabins. The freezer needed to be defrosted, so we could not use it. We lost power Saturday night for about 4 hours. Other than that, it was a great stay.“

„We had a great time staying at the Asylum house. I will not lie it was a bit scary driving up. Once there it was a blast. Walking around the old Hospital grounds. We think we got some voice box recordings. Did hear some screams, well we think we did. Saw the old Prison creepy for sure. Must go to the old cemetery. Could have used more towels, but that would be the only down side. So if your looking for a place that has a past, this is the place. Its a must see for sure. Thanks. John. “

„We all loved this place. The house, the back yard and the location were beautiful! The hosts had everything you could possibly need or want. Great communication with hosts. And even a few surprises. The kayaks and floating dock were a big hit! Our dogs had fun too, despite the rain. We all agreed that we want to live there. Thanks for a great experience!“
