We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming Eau Claire home! From the moment we walked in, the beautifully decorated Christmas tree made everything feel so festive and welcoming — it really added that special holiday magic, especially with kids in our group.The highlight for us was the spacious great family room — so cozy and perfect for gathering everyone together for games, movies, and just relaxing. The huge windows overlooking Otter Creek were breathtaking. It felt peaceful and private, yet we were just a short drive from downtown Eau Claire’s breweries, restaurants, and trails.The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The three bedrooms gave everyone plenty of space, and having 1.5 bathrooms was super convenient. Beds were comfy, kitchen had everything we needed, and the hosts were responsive and thoughtful. Highly recommend — 5 stars all the way!

Our trip to Otter Creek Manor went well. The property is nice, the building is old but has been added to and updated. It has a rustic feel and minimalist decor. It would work perfectly for a small group or big family and is set up for sleeping 6 adults comfortably. The grill uses charcoal and is pretty small. The kitchen has the basics; no coffee pot, but a Kuerig machine. It is conveniently located and accessible to major freeways, though you can hear the dim of traffic noise.

Otter Creek Manor is a stunning and peaceful home located within the city of Eau Claire but has the country feel, surrounded by woods. Walking down by the creek the owners have your peace and serenity in mind as there are several ares set up with lounge chairs to just sit, enjoy nature, and the sounds of the creek running through. It’s priceless really. The house itself has so much room to either spend time with family and friends or just sit in peace, drink a good cup of coffee, and enjoy a good book. A big perk for us was they allow your fur-babies to join you. Our pups loved the space and the great outdoors this home provided. 10/10 would recommend

Great venue for a get together!

Our son got married in EC on Saturday and we had a small gathering of friends and family over for an ouside BBQ for rehearsal dinner and drinks Friday night. Kitchen is great with two larger nice refrigerators. Outside area perfect for an outdoor get together - very pretty and private! Plenty of parking for guests. Feels kind of like Narnia - like your in the middle of the woods but in the middle of the city! The grounds are very pretty and well maintained - is cool to be able to get to the creek and a short walking path from the house.

This property was an absolutely amazing venue! Fresh flowers on the counter greeted us, and it all got better from there!!A group of friends got together for a week of crafting, and although the property was not listed a crafting retreat, we could not have found a more perfect place for our purposes. From scrapbooking, to sewing, paper crafting and other creative projects, we couldn’t have asked for anything more! The amount of room we had to spread out, the spacious kitchen, the bedrooms… we have nothing but good to say about our experience! The kitchen was huge, and with two refrigerators, there was plenty of space for everything we brought along! We were so close to shopping and dining options, but it didn’t feel like we were in town. It was our own little piece of paradise!Coy’s communication was stellar! We hope to make it back in 2026!!

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The home is quite large. We had plenty of space for the 4 of us. The grounds are very pretty. The kitchen is well-stocked and worked very well for us. Communication with the manager was great.

Amazing Place!

We stayed at Otter Creek Manor for 4 days in May. This place is absolutely beautiful! We used it to get ready for my daughter’s wedding and pictures. There is a HUGE living room area that was perfect for all the bridesmaids to spread out. The kitchen is well stocked and has 2 refrigerators. 3 bedrooms upstairs have super comfy beds. The grounds are lovely with 15 marked places to park.The owner, Cory was great to work with! A storm blew through while we were there and he checked in on us to make sure everyone was ok. This place as absolutely perfect for our group!

Perfect!

The desciption and pictures of the property don't do it justice! Absolutely amazing place. The amenities are out of this world! There was no expense spared in the upgrades to make this place feel like home. Every appliance was top of the line, all utensils were provided along with the necessary kuerig coffee! The hosts were very responsive and willing to help, but honestly their help wasn't want needed. All directions for the stay, the requirements and their planning made everything so easy. The only suggestions i have are... they need an ice maker and a bigger charcoal grill. Just WOW! Talk about top of the line at a reasonable price. Kuddos to the owners! Absolutely the best VRBO ever! their help

Great place, great location

We had an awesome mini vacation at this home. The location was close to plenty to do yet far away enough to be able to relax. Plenty or room in the home with lots to do, great high end appliances, nice big tv for movie nights, well stocked kitchen. Great communication.

A Wonderful Haven

The property was perfect! We had fantasic views of the woods with all the convience of being right off a main road in the city. The house was set well back from the road making it feel like a secret oasis. My family loves to craft, and we really enjoyed being able to spread out projects because there was so much space. The house has a great kitchen which made cooking a breeze and fun. And the owner was a joy to work with very helpful with answering questions and very quick to respond. We absolutely loved it and can't wait to come back.

Nice place for family Thanksgiving

Overall we really liked this place. Great location. A few minor issues and a couple of bigger issues, otherwise would have given a perfect rating. One minor issue is they didn't have a regular coffee pot, just a Keurig single-serve machine. Also a bit lacking as far as kitchen supplies. The bathroom on the main floor had a strange odor the entire stay. Not sure what caused it. Also, we spotted a mouse in the house. Loved the large room with lots of windows overlooking Otter Creek. The pool table was a nice touch.

Perfect Stay

This property is so charming. It is tucked away by trees and situated next to Otter Creek and looks like a fairytale city. It was very clean. Coty, the owner/manager was great to work with. My family enjoyed the huge great room with extra large tv and dining area. We used the kitchen to make some holiday treats. It was the best place to spend time with family. Country in the city

Such a find - a nice, woodland property in the middle of the city! Perfect location for our grand-daughter’s visit to UW Eau Claire, and pretty close to the Otter Creek dog park for our little dog’s fun runs. The teens loved the giant TV and wrap-around couch in the ballroom-size living room! Well equipped kitchen. Only downside is that is now beside a busy highway - but well set back and hidden from the road, so you don’t hear it too much.
