« We stayed for 5 nights in Fell View. The house is conveniently located for day trips into the Lake district, and a 15 minute walk from the city centre. The interior of the house is lovingly decorated and very comfortable. we even enjoyed the garden as the weather was reasonable. Enjoyed our stay! »

« Our stay at the New Inn 1730 was only overnight, and we arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. This is a welcoming & friendly pub, with restaurant and accommodation. The owner did his best to accommodate our needs during our short stay, and is still finding his feet a little having only recently taken on the business. Food options were limited when we arrived, particularly for our two fussy children, so we did eat elsewhere that night, but the cooked breakfast in the morning was very good,...

« This is a beautifully appointed shepherd's hut on the edge of a pretty and quiet village in the North Pennines. Lots of walking routes nearby and just a few miles from Appleby-in-Westmoreland. We enjoyed our stay very much though were disappointed that the internet signal was so poor. The TV would not stream smoothly so not worth having it there at the moment. Still, this was a small sacrifice for the pleasure of experiencing tiny living life for a few days. Everything else worked really...

« Fantastic little space to stay in as a base while exploring the local area The pods have hot water and heating along with basic cooking facilities A good but compact shower and bathroom Nice comfy bed and a nice sofa to relax upon (a little low for me but it's fine) and a marvelous view outside the main doors My only recommendation is to pack light »

« We spent two magnificent weeks in the Dunkeld Cottage. The house is so lovely and very comfortable. All the household appliances are in the cottage (washing machine; dishwasher..) We liked very much the style. The cottage is located in the Lake District (very nice region) and less than two hours , you can reach Liverpool Manchester Newcastle the Scotland and the fabulous Hadrian's wall Nous avons passé deux semaines magnifiques à Dunkeld Cottage dans une maison typique et très confortable....

« Cannot recommend this property enough, the pictures don’t do it justice. Absolutely spotlessly clean and fantastic facilities. The house is stunning, finished to a really high standard and the gardens are the same. The hosts were fantastic, great communication from start to finish and really friendly.
