« We live in Edinburgh but had to book somewhere to stay while we were having work done at our house and Sycamore Cottage was perfect for four of us. The bedrooms are really spacious and the kitchen is really well equipped which isn’t always the case in self catering accommodation. We didn’t think we’d need to use the log burner but a typical Scottish spring meant we used it a few nights and there was plenty of logs left for it. Easy to drive into Edinburgh or can get the train from Gorebridge....

« Good for family (2 adults, 4 kids). Good location, 30 minute walk or 10-15 minute bus ride to the city centre. Clean apartment, some initial struggle with the front door key ‘technique’ but the video was helpful, could’ve done with a few more kitchen utensils / oven trays for self catering. Overall good, would stay again. »

Fantastic mud room with a great space to wash and fold laundry. Easy access to some of the best coastal golf in East Lothian/Mussleburgh area. 20 minute drive to downtown Edinburgh. Beautiful grounds with deer, pheasant, rabbits. Plentiful parking outside the unit. And above all....VERY accommodating owners. Without diving too...

« The weather wasn’t in our favor but it didn’t matter as the cottage was the perfect place to spend a rainy day. The home was far more spacious than the photos conveyed. We had plenty of room for our group of five. With a well fitted out kitchen, a nice supply of board games, and a cozy fire in the wood stove, everyone enjoyed themselves. Hopefully, we will be able to take advantage of the lovely enclosed private garden on a future visit. »

« We traveled with two kids under four, my spouse, and her parents. The apartment had tons of space and a nice patio as well. This cottage is literally built within the wall of the castle grounds. The very windows you look out to see the ocean and the sheep are built right into the wall. The walk around the property is fantastic. « Très belle maison spacieuse, propre, avec une literie confortable et une cuisine bien équipée. Les vaches dans le champs d’à côté ont bien occupé nos enfants. Belle vue des chambres. Pratique pour visiter Édimbourg, Glasgow et le château de Stirling. Propriétaire très sympathique. »

« We really enjoyed our stay at Chesnut Cottage ! Very cosy, warm, welcoming little house ! Thank you for welcoming us and our dog ! The Arniston Estate is lovely, very calm. A nice place for walks. Very dark at night, we had the chance to see plenty of stars when the sky was clear enough. The fireplace with everything needed and the bathtube were the cherry on top ! Easy to access from Edinburgh airport. The train station of Gorebridge is also a big plus. 25min by train and you're in the town...

« L’appartement de King Stables était malheureusement indisponible en raison d’une fuite d’eau importante. Sonia nous a alors proposé un autre logement plus spacieux, mais un peu plus décentré, sur Stockbridge. Elle s’est régulièrement assurée que tout allait bien. Elle fut vraiment charmante et efficace! Nous avons adoré notre logement et le quartier de Stockbridge. »
