94 was the perfect house for our group of 8 adults and 2 small children. Each luxurious bedroom had its own bath with heated floors. Living space was divided so that the kids could leave their toys and not impinge on “adult” space. We cooked an entire turkey dinner for Christmas in the kitchen, and served it forth into that lovely garden dining room. The house is handy to shopping, bus lines to downtown, and good restaurants and pubs. Best of all are Paul and John, who seem to anticipate every need with second sight. They provided dinner our first night (we are still fondly discussing the lasagna and boeuf bourguignon), and an amazing, bespoke going away dinner that they both prepared and served. Truly, there aren’t enough superlatives to cover their service and their kindness.

Paul is a fantastic host. Great entertaining space and all the facilities you could hope for-the house blend coffee is excellent! The bedrooms are very comfortable and the whole house was spotlessly clean. Roughly 10 minute walk to the Royal Mile. Can’t wait to stay at 94DR again!

The house is large, clean, warm and very well presented. Beds are super comfy and the linen immaculate. The bathrooms are beautiful. Extra living spaces make it easy to have small children in a "play room" Lorenzo and Aylwin could not have been more helpful and accommodating while also keeping a respectful distance. They provided great local knowledge and extra stuff for the little children as requested. We went for long walks on the farm tracks and climbed the hills behind. The views are lovely. Nearest shops are in the village but Sainsburys will deliver. We used the house for a family get together and it accommodated us all easily. We cooked and ate in the big farmhouse kitchen. Everything you need for this is there. We also had lovely lunches at the big tables in the garden overlooking the valley. Thank you Kinclune for a fabulous family stay. I will definitely come back.

Fabulous, well maintained home with abundance of well thought out extras! Large & beautiful all window dining room off the kitchen that looked out onto lovely garden with seating and fireplace. Our family group of 10 adults were extremely comfortable in the home especially with each bedroom having its own bathroom. Paul was a very friendly & gracious host, providing helpful information on Edinburgh as well as delicious coffee & some food staples for our stay. I highly recommend the home as a fantastic home base to explore Edinburgh & Scotland!

Perfect place to spend the week of my 60th birthday with family and friends. Hosts are amazing, the Orangery and yard a special bonus. Could walk to Fringe Fest shows and easy access to the rest of the city. Nice to be in a real neighborhood and loved exploring the beautiful lanes nearby. Hosts provided treats and essentials, we felt very lucky to have found 94D!

The property is very spacious and beautifully decorated. The kitchen/bar is fully equipped and there is space for everyone. The very welcoming host cooked a delicious Heat and Eat meal for us. I would highly recommend this lovely property

Bliss in Edinburgh!

To 94DR, wow what a wonderful vacation for our family in Edinburgh. The property is even more stunning in person than on VRBO’s website. Located just south of the heart of Edinburgh it’s loaded with all the niceties one expects in a 5-star listing. The hosts, Paul and John were amazingly gracious and superb communicators before and during our stay. We highly recommend the daily cooked breakfast! They also catered a full meal for our entire family and plated 12 people in the orangery! We would encourage anyone seeking a full Edinburgh experience to book 94DR!

Best VRBO Host Ever!!!!

The property was awesome!! We particularly loved the view to the beautiful outdoor space. Over the years I have booked a fair number of properties, but I have never had a host as gracious, accommodating and welcoming as Paul. He even provided grocery items to get us started. He went out of his way to help. An example - Upon departure my son left his tablet at the property. Recognizing this, Paul phoned us at the train station and so we would not miss our train, he drove the tablet to the train station. Who does that????? We all wanted to take him home with us.

Family Euro Vacation

This property is enchanting and Paul is the consummate host. The home is equipped with everything one would need and more. We traveled in a group of 9 with teens, parents and a grandparent. We were all beyond comfortable and Paul went the extra mile to help secure airport transfers as well as stock the kitchen with some much appreciated items, especially by the teenagers. The property is beautifully decorated and cozy as well. I cannot recommend this home more and we would love to return again someday :)

Our family of 8 thoroughly enjoyed staying at this home. Amazing property with all amenities. Paul was exceptionally helpful with groceries and making us feel welcome upon arrival and departure. Highly recommend this property. Beds were comfortable and living space was amazing including the back patio.

Terrific house in Edinburgh

We stayed at 94DR for the week of our daughter's wedding and it was a perfect choice. The host Paul was terrific and the house hugely comfortable. Parking for three cars was very welcome. The only reason I have given it four stars for accuracy of listing is that there are quite a lot of changes of levels throughout the house and having recently broken my knee I struggled to get up and down steps I wasn't expecting - my fault for not checking beforehand. We will long remember 94DR and hope we have an excuse to return at some stage, perhaps without a wedding to organise!

A wonderful stay in a beautiful home

We stayed in Paul’s beautiful home whilst we celebrated our son’s wedding in Edinburgh. The house was perfect for entertaining friends and family. It is very well equipped and in a good location. Paul, our host, was very welcoming and went out of his way to help us make the best of our time in Edinburgh. We couldn’t have asked for more!

Wonderful stay in Edinburgh

Paul’s place is wonderful. Central location close to everything in the city. The setup is 4 bedrooms on the 1st floor and then 2 more on the 2nd floor. It would be ideal for a large extended family with everyone having their own bedrooms and en suite bathrooms but then also have a spacious common areas (kitchen, living room, family room). Highly recommend!

Fantastic Weekend

Great location for walking to all the great spots in Edinburgh. Beautiful home and backyard… our family really enjoyed our time in the eating area and outside. Paul was very easy to deal with and helped make our stay special.

Family trip to Edinburgh

Paul was great and couldn't have been friendlier. The property had plenty of space for us, and Paul was very gracious in providing us with bacon and a few other things to help get us going in the morning (along with restaurant reservations). A great stay!
