The Space:

This is a private boat stay located in the marina in Fuglafjørður. The boat remains docked throughout your stay.



You will have access to the full boat, including sleeping areas, seating space, and onboard facilities. Please note that space is more compact than a traditional apartment, as expected on a boat.



Underfloor and marine systems operate as standard for docked vessels. The boat may move slightly depending on weather conditions.



Guest Access:

Guests have full private access to the boat during their stay.



The marina has shared areas, including waste disposal facilities. Please dispose of trash in the designated marina area or nearby public bins if needed.



Parking is available near the marina. You may also park outside Mentanarhúsið in Fuglafjørður, within walking distance. Parking is generally free, but please check local signage.



The Neighborhood:

The boat is located in the marina area of Fuglafjørður, a charming coastal town surrounded by dramatic mountains and ocean views.



From the marina, you are:



2–3 minutes’ walk to the town center



3–5 minutes’ walk to a grocery store



Within walking distance of local cafés and restaurants



Close to scenic hiking trails directly from town



Fuglafjørður is known for its peaceful atmosphere, colorful houses, and beautiful fjord views. It’s a perfect base if you want a quieter stay while still having access to local amenities.



Getting Around:

Free parking is available near the marina. You may also park outside Mentanarhúsið in Fuglafjørður, which is just a short walk away.



Distances by car:



Tórshavn – approx. 30 minutes



Klaksvík – approx. 30 minutes



Vágar Airport – approx. 45 hour



Gjógv – approx. 30 minutes



While Fuglafjørður is easy to explore on foot, we recommend having a car if you plan to visit other parts of the Faroe Islands.



Other Things to Note:

The boat remains docked and is not available for sailing.



Please be aware that boats may gently move depending on weather and tide conditions.



Early check-in or late check-out can be arranged for an additional fee, subject to availability.



Please note that a local tourism tax and administration fee apply to all stays. These are standard requirements in the Faroe Islands and will be arranged separately closer to arrival.
