Nearby highlights include the Castillo de San Marcos, a 13th-century fortress overlooking the bay, and the beautiful Playa de La Puntilla beach. Just a short walk away is the charming old town with Plaza de España and the Church of San Francisco, perfect for exploring local history and architecture. The area is also dotted with tapas bars and waterfront promenades, making it lively and picturesque.

The nearest regular bus connections are available from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria’s bus stations (with routes such as the Global buses 105 and 103 connecting to towns including Gáldar and Agaete near Guía), which are approximately a 30‑minute bus ride from Guía.
