„Oft sind es die Kleinigkeiten, die den Unterschied machen, ob man sich wohlfühlt oder nicht. Das zwar Salat aber kein Essig und Öl gibt mag verwundern aber noch verständlich sein. Aber weder Salz noch Pfeffer?
Leider funktionierte auch unsere Klimaanlage nicht. War das wirklich vorher nicht bekannt? Wir bekamen dann ein anderes Zimmer.
Das Hotel wirbt damit umweltfreundlich zu sein. Zu dem überschaubaren Frühstück gibt es jedoch ausschließlich wegwerf Geschirr. “

„This is a landmark resort build in the 1970. While it is very well kept, it does show its age here and there. However, the unique architecture and many beautiful details of this village-style complex are charming and set it apart from any recently built, all-looking-the-same chain hotel. The winding cobblestone paths and stairs contribute to the atmosphere but may not be ideal for those with difficulty walking.

„Very nice and centrally located hotel in colonial style. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the nice restaurant is serving breakfast and good ceviche and margaritas in the evening. Colonial is for me the best choice in downtown Manzanillo, and I very much prefer this location over the touristic areas along the bay.“
