« It was funky in the most artistic and pleasing way. Most ofnthe places we stay in are either sterile generic or have the appearance of being cobbled together. This place had interesting art, vintage furniture, and inviting nooks. The stairs - which were both clearly mentioned as well as depicted - were challenging, but that was all. We spent hours relaxing by the water, taking in the serene atmosphere. The neighborhood is quiet and it's less than a ten minute drive to some beautiful waterfalls. « I'm writing this from the top level suite of the rental. This place is absolutely amazing! We are here with family and friends attending the Minnesota Yacht Club Festival of Music, which was killer. The decor of The Blais is perfect! We loved the speakeasy area. The photobooth was so much fun! The outdoor area was very nice. We walked to the local restaurants and bars. We will definitely find a reason to return!! »

« Everything was great for our Bach Party weekend! Only downside was the neighbor lady next door to the right of the property was yelling at us for swimming and “being too loud” at 7pm on Friday night. She was also taking photos of our cars and license plates that were on the drive way to “check the property line.” We were told this was a regular occurrence from other neighbors and to just ignore her and have fun.Great place to stay with friends and overall beautiful! »

We were only there for a short stay so didn't have a ton of time tk check out all the places nearby, but the hosts had an awesome welcome book with tons of suggestions! « We’ve stayed at a few lake houses in a few different states, and this was hands down the BEST! Our hosts took care of everything. Matt went out of his way in his day off to teach us how to use the pontoon! The central air was perfect for hot summer days and nights! The kitchen was fully stocked with essentials for cooking in house. The porch and living room views of the lake were beautiful! They even provided snacks! So thoughtful and lovely! »
